Clifford's Pub — Restaurant in Palatine Township

I am from the South side of Chicago, and I almost felt at home. Working class, shot and a beer joint. Great jukebox, hot bartenders, cool patrons, very colorful. It was a very mixed crowd, but variety makes the place a bit spicier. This is a bar for someone that can hold their own, but these folks are golden. I got in an automobile accident across the street and was stranded there for hours, with no money or cards. The bartender was breathtakingly beautiful, she ran me a tab and I had a great time during a very stressful situation. I like Clifford's, though I might be influenced by the fact that it is within walking distance of my house. It is average and the crowd is very diverse, reflecting the diverse neighborhood. Mondays and Fridays have a $3-U-CALL-IT deal, which is when I primarily go there. Great jukebox. Only food there is pizza, but it is cheap and good and I recommend eating it with a nice, cheap pitcher if Miller ($5). Only seen one...
