Called to order pho noodle bowls w beef.

Get there was told they don’t take card only so I had to play w their atm to get money.. why I wasn’t told this on the phone idk.

I was quite ill I believe from food poisoning which is why I wanted soup for dinner.

I handed dude forty dollars that I just got from atm but looked at the package he had which did not look like soup was in there. I asked and said this is pho beef soup? He said no and proceeded to tell me I didn’t order soup. To which I proceeded to tell him yea I did and that I’m ill and I can’t eat whatever is in these bags. I had no clue what was in the bags . I had been queasy all day and needed a bathroom. I could see dude was steadfast in wanting to argue instead of make anything right. I was physically unable to proceed w an argument. I looked at him and said again this is not what I ordered. He didn’t even give me the change for the wrong order. And unfortunately needing a bathroom and just to get home I didn’t/couldn’t put up a fight which seemed to me that’s what he was interested in doing.. arguing, not making it right and not offering my money back and not even offering my change back.

I left this establishment having paid forty dollars which was 13 dollars more than the wrong order and left w no food...

We came in around 745pm.. the restaurant closes at 9pm. The server was rushing us to order and said tbe kitchen was closing before it even turned 8pm. Very horrible service..we asked if they had chili for our pho and the server didn't know what we were talking about..that was a big indication that this place was not authentic..we ordered boba drinks in the beginning with the appetizer and they were served when we were done eating our main dishes..the boba was horrible.. you can tell they were rushing and just made them without care.. tapioca texture was off.. pho broth was ok but the beef round steak were stuck together like it was taken out of a frozen meat pack and was very chewy in texure.. goyza was pretty good. Noodle dishes were ok..but the service just ruined the whole experience..I usually tip 20% or more but I just couldn't do it.. I asked for boxes and then waited 5 min and server and buser were by the front register counting money.. I had to go up there to ask for my check...also this place is CASH ONLY! Another indication of being cheap!!...

Very clean, open seating. Very authentic pho, this is the best in the suburbs, hands down. Ive tried a few in the area and their Broth is the best. Broth has just the right spices, served piping hot with your choice of cuts of beef. (I like the combo, my wife prefers just the eye of round steak) They serve it with all the garnishes of thai basil, jalepenos, and bean sprouts. You get a BIG bowl. Trust me your not going home hungry. When i was done , it looked like there was as much left as when I started. I gladly took the rest home! They have hot/cooked pork and beef bahn mi. Crisp baguette and nicely pickled vegetables. Put a little hoisen or siracha if you like it spicy. I shared the appetizer plate... Shrimp egg rolls right of the fryer nice hot and crispy. Spring rolls were on point, great peanut sauce to go with it. This place is excellent, I hope more people find out about this because they serve some great food here. The staff are very humble, polite. CASH only, but they do have an ATM in the lobby in case...

Viet Taste has the best Pho soups in the entire NW Chicago suburbs. We moved here from DC, where we have tried some really delicious Pho soups in several authentic places. When moved to Chicago area we were on the mission to find a new favorite spot with great Pho soup. We tried so many places but couldn’t settle on one. We heard from friends here that Viet Taste was opening right in our neighborhood. We anticipated the opening date for few months. Now that it’s opened we are the regulars there and often are greeted by the owner (extremely nice person who really cares about the customers). My husband loves tendon soup and I prefer the brisket (my go to are #40 or #44) I also highly recommend my other favorite #25 Bún Combo Shrimp and lemongrass pork and egg roll (So delicious!) We highly recommend their smoothies as well. Our favorites are Piña Colada and Kiwi. We haven’t tried all of them though, but I bet they are all delicious.

Viet taste has some solid food. Started with 001: Viet Taste Starter Plate: crispy egg roll, fresh spring roll, shrimp rangoons, and chicken on the stick. It was a good variety of food to start the meal with and it is great to share with others. My favorite was the chicken on the stick, it had a good grilled flavor and wasn't dry. For the main dish, I tried 42, the pho with combo meat. There were lots of toppings in the pho. I wish there were a bit more onions and that the broth was a bit sweeter. Service was great as they brought the food out quickly and checked in on us periodically. The restaurant has plenty of seating and parking. It's great for big groups and is probably the best Vietnamese food you can get in the suburbs. Would recommend checking this place out!
