Rumors Flying Inc. — Restaurant in Palatka

Ive had to rewrite my last review since its changed hands. Its definitely cleaner inside than it was but paint doesn't fix everything. The welcoming vibe is gone. The bar maid you think would atleast smile or be dressed in dirty looking sloppy clothing. It does not look half as busy as it used to be and people are saying the new owner is rude and has chased some away. It no longer is a smoking inside bar. Its totally different the atmosphere is like walking into a vfw with 60-70 year old men at the bar. Karaoke 🎤 i think id now pass on going to here. This is my personal opinion of what it is now from what it used to be cleaner yes but it does not feel welcoming anymore so ill pass on going...

I have been in this bar multiple times to stop for a shot and go. But, recently I went in over the last week and the atmosphere is more inviting and friendly. The bar is much cleaner and welcoming. After talking to the bartender the bar is now under new Management and has a New Owner. Kimberly has served me and seems to always have a smile on her face and greets me as I enter the bar. I found out that they are going to be doing Trivia and Ladies night. I will be definitely returning. If you are looking for fun and exciting changes this definitely is your bar. After plenty of years of driving by this place I finally had the opportunity to stop in. Rumors was exactly what I thought it would be & I was not disappointed. It was the definition of a side of the road dive, it checked all the boxes, working pay phone, beer taps that don’t work, pool tables & darts, a very small stage, smoking inside, drive through package store, jukebox, bar food from the back kitchen, friendly local patrons & that very lived in vibe. I’ll make it a point to stop by anytime I’m passing through...
