Definitely a must! Jalisco Breakfast and Mexican Food in North Palm Springs is an absolute hidden gem that truly delivers on all fronts. From the moment I stepped in, the friendly and helpful staff created an inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. Don’t let the outside deceive you! YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE :) The birria plate and birriaquiles were nothing short of amazing, showcasing the kitchen's dedication to authentic Mexican flavors. The nachos and menudo definitely hit the spot as well. The family’s genuine enthusiasm for their culinary offerings added an extra layer of warmth to the entire meal. Their recommendations and attentive service elevated the dining experience, making it not just a meal but a memorable journey into Mexican cuisine. For those seeking not only exceptional food but also a welcoming environment, Jalisco Breakfast and Mexican Food is where it’s at. I highly recommend this spot where warmth, flavor, and friendliness come together for a delightful dining experience. Try the aguas frescas and definitely have dessert :) We’re coming back before our trip is over. The locals are lucky to have this restaurant in their backyard. đŸ«¶

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived at Jalisco, it was like a scene in a movie
picturesque desert, tire shop next to a coffee shop but instead its a delicious Mexican restaurant. (Jalisco a Mexican state located on the west coast, known for their diversity, beautiful landscapes and cultural traditions) servin up traditional foods such as; Chilaquiles Verdes, Huevos Rancheros, Sopes, Quesabirrias and Chile relleno. No worries, if you prefer an American meal, they offer that too; Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and pancakes. My partner and I were there for breakfast, got the Chilaquiles and Patatas Bravas. The food came fast and hot. The flavor was amazing, umami with a hint of spice. We got to talking to the owner (Patricia) she was a sweet heart. She mentioned after the flood cause by Tropical storm Hillary which hit the area in Sept has caused the road to close and sadly that’s a loss for potential clients. (The city doesn’t have money to repair the road) Do yourself a favor, if you are ever in Desert Hot springs or even Palm Springs, support local business, especially this one! Can’t wait to come back again.

Been in CV for nearly a year, how did I not know about Jalisco? Friend turned me on to it, now I owe them! Not to be confused with others by the same name down south valley. Jalisco is approx 1 mile north of I-10 on Indian Canyon, dive looking place next to a tire shop. Service is hospitable and quick. Atmosphere is typical of a family run place; come in your flip flops and faded t-shirt, you’ll feel at home. Huevos Rancheros was my first selection, and was beyond delicious. Just the right amount of spice. Churros were sugar cinnamon balls with a lite caramel inside, vanilla ice cream on the side. Can’t wait to try other menu items. Not a night joint. Breakfast, lunch and early dinner. Closes at 5pm or 6pm. Skip the tourist Mexican places and head north between Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs. Jalisco is where the locals are, because they know!

If you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine in Palm Springs, look no further than Jalisco Restaurant! This gem is family-owned, and dining here feels like being welcomed into a warm, inviting home. From the perfectly seasoned carne asada to the melt-in-your-mouth tamales, each bite is a testament to the care and love they put into their dishes.
