Cero Tr3s Churrasqueria — Restaurant in Palmview

We were craving enchiladas so googled the restaurant before hand and saw somewhere in a menu that they offered enchiladas. So we decided to go 6:30 pm and when the server gave us the menu no enchiladas were on it. Kind of disappointing but we decided to give it a try. Chips, beans and salsas given as appetizers were good. The flavor of the chips was really good. Not your typical Maseca chips. They actually taste like corn. Chips well seasoned , beans had really good flavor, salsas green and red not too spicy. We ordered, Ribeye panchos, Buffalo wings and Chicken Alfredo. Everything was flavorful. Asked for a cup of water, unfortunately it was not well filtered. But other than the misleading menu on Google everything was good. Service good. Ambience good. Nachos were my favorite. Came in for a late lunch, the restaurant area was empty. Seating and drink order were almost immediate. The decor is very warm and inviting. Chips and 3 salsas were served. The salmon Alfredo pasta was spot on. Portion size for myself was perfect. When the check came there was a convenience fee for a couple of dollars. Our server explained that it was there to cover the cost of their point of sale system. Coming from the service industry, this is a cost of doing business and should be passed along in the price of food and drinks as the additional fee for credit cards is already an addition. I went there thinking it was going to be authentic food made by locals but it wasn’t good. Salad bar I give it a 1 star for food that passes by like the rice and the salads. If you want the authentic Brazilian style stick to Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil. The meats were dry. Service was okay. From my observations of the place I assume people go there for the Tejano/cumbia ambiance and the drinks more.
