El Puerto del Tio Jerry Palmview — Restaurant in Palmview

Initially, I had high hopes for this restaurant, as it appeared to have great food. However, my expectations were completely shattered when I ordered a plate of oysters. To my dismay, they were served piping hot when they should have been properly chilled. The cocktail sauce accompanying them was not just disappointing; it was downright disgusting.

As if that wasn’t enough, we also ordered a botana, only to find that it was over-fried to the point where there was far too much breading. The excessive breading completely overshadowed the flavors, making it an unappetizing dish.

In light of this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant. Readers and potential diners, beware and consider other options for a more enjoyable...

Tío jerry isn’t what it used to be. Ever since all the employees left, they had been very careless with what they’ve been giving. A few days ago, I went to eat there since I never had a problem. However, I got food poisoning, they literally use the same oil to fry everything! Now this food poisoning made a hole on my stomach. I was weighing 102.6 and now I’m at 92.8 because I can’t eat anything. I’m depending on baby food in order to not feel the pain. I’m forced to take 8 pills every day, 4 in the morning 4 at night. These pills make me weak, gives me migraines, unintentional weight loss, makes me dizzy, and stomach pain and it’s worse when my stomach is empty which is all the time cause I can’t eat. I gym every morning and I can’t...

Ordered the #22, 6 piece fish/6 piece shrimp thinking it was going to be a small plate of fried foods with some fries. Cost was $30 so I was a little upset with the price. As we waited in the drive thru, we kept noticing multiple items of food being prepped and bagged. We looked around for another car, bc surely that couldn't be our order. The wait was long for drive through...maybe 15ish minutes. But made sense when they presented us with 4 bags stuffed with food! Got home and the amount of food was ridiculous...in a great and amazing way. Not to mention the flavors and textures were on point! Definitely will return to try...
