Somerset Pour House — Restaurant in Palmyra

Knew this place opened open up as a "New spot" in town. While I was pulling in it was very hard to see where the driveway and the ditch were.... I recommend some reflectors. I drove around the driveway only to have to squeeze into a spot because there are no lines in the driveway. Pulling into the parking spot I noticed that infront of me, was there full security display monitor. As I sat there and watched the workers and everyone else inside... MAJOR SECURITY FLAW! I walked in to see a host kiosk and no one standing there or no signage. A simple " Seat yourself" would be great. I sat myself after asking a stranger if thats what you do. He didnt really seem too sure earther. I figured that someone would come over to take a drink order but they dont. You have to walk up to the bar to order drinks and food. They then give you a buzzer and you go get the food yourself for your table. There is an event going on tonight at 9PM and there is only 2 employees working tonight with what I would guess is 60+ people. This place is not NEW its the same M Room that it used to be. Understand if you Don't sit at bar you will be ignored. Even though there are more tables then bar seats, if you sit at a table the staff will stare at you and ignore you. You are expected know, without signs that you need to walk up from your table, order your drink and then stand at the bar and watch them make it away from your company. If you want food, don't order to much. You will need to walk over and pick up whatever you ordered all while a couple bartenders sit and stare at ther phones bored. Don't order any mixed drinks, they will be filled with nothing but annoyance that you were confused why they made you do there jobs. Confusing place for any one that is used to a normal small bar with a lot of tables. Would be much better with big center horseshoe bar since there are no servers and need more bar seats....the regulars will space out seating at the bar so if you have a party more then 1....you will not get to the bar, and tipping service....Food was great, but made more sense to grill and chill if stuck at a do it yourself table outside...

Went to this place for the first time 2 days ago. Got there at 5:15 PM, I was there with my husband and our friends. We ordered our food and our drinks got our drinks and at 6 o'clock, we asked, how long before we get our food? The answer was they're working on it. I asked again at 6:20 when is our food coming out because there are 2 other tables that got in here after us and they have their food. Needless to say by 6:45 we had to leave because we were headed an event at Bangor waterfront which started at 7:30 and was at least a 1/2 hour up the highway, We never did get our food. All they said to me was, "I'm sorry the kitchen you must have missed your ticket". We paid for our drinks and left.
