I can tell you after a weary 1900 mile one-way rooms were clean. Neat linen was perfect towels were perfect. I don’t know why some people only gave a 3.8 but staff is amazing! Patty and Wayne, the couple who run it are just absolutely phenomenal. No she doesn’t put up with shenanigans but that’s how she maintains a nice clean respectable place. I’ve worked at two historic hotels . and I can tell you that this place absolutely outshines them. I’ll keep in mind those historic hotels were over 100 years old and they were pretty nice. And I know this facility from back when I was in high school and 87 anyways wonderful job keep up the great work guys same to the housekeeping fantastic job thank you for taking me in and treating me like family. â˜ș and besides the great warm kindness of Patty and Wayne was puppy dog Moxie that made my trip so much nicer. She was so sweet. Wanted to play frisbee with me and always always greeted me. Always a great way to start out with puppy lovins đŸ˜‹đŸ„°

Good location-easy on and off from highway, places to eat close by and nice stores for shopping minutes away. Owners are nice and caring but I should have been told a non-smoking room would not be possible. The ash tray was still on table. If it wasn't winter I would have opened windows to air it out. (Didn't even notice if they did open). They had a newly renovated room available, but we had our dog and couldn't have it. They advertise as being pet friendly. Don't know if that will change once all rooms are renovated. Bathroom (tub) was not completely cleaned. Hard to see in photo but there was hair in tub and shower curtain was dirty. We did not use it. As a last resort I may consider staying again.

Easy check in. Spotless room. Friendly manager. Close to shopping (Walmart next door) and fast food ( Burger King, McDonald's and Dunkin doughnuts all within 500 feet) . Pet Friendly too!

I couldn't get my usual cabin at Christy's for the fall. Decided to stay at Lovelys. I just needed a place to sleep and shower. Had my dog with me and intended to hunt turkey and grouse. I made a reservation for my desired days. Told the gentleman I made the reservation with that I had my dog and if possible could I get a little extra freezer space should I be successful. He assured me dogs were welcome and yes there was a spare freezer I could use in one of there efficiency apt. I put down a deposit and I was ready. Show up the last week in September for a 3 day stay. I check in at the office and emediatly things go sideways. No freezer space, young lady wasn't sure who I talked to or anything about it. But there was some freezer space in a common area in the laundry room, big fridge for employee lunches and the freezer was big and empty. Cool, stored some food in there and went to check in my room. The end of the road only one neighbor. Right in front of my door is a big pile of puke. I look at the hotel room door " no pets allowed". My dog looked at me funny. Back to the desk, turns out my only neighbor is a homeless dude with lots of issues must of been his puke. No record of me having a dog either. She said no problem, try and keep him off the bed. Ha Ha!!! It was raining and I unloaded my stuff and hung my soaked rain coat on a chair outside to drip dry. Next time I went outside it was gone! I stayed my 3 days, guy next door moaned and yelled all night. It was great. When I finally went to leave and retrieved my freezer food. Someone had stolen a pack of deer backstrap and bag of fish fillets. Don't stay there if you have any other options. Sleep in your car and keep your vittles in a Yeti! In spite of the situation I had a successful trip. But in case you didn't read it the first time,...

This Motel has the worst Business and Work Ethics. Please read this review if you dont want a bad experience happening to you - This happened during the 'maine organic farmers and gardeners association' festival (23rd sept - 25th sept) 2022.

I booked this hotel for 23rd sept for 2 nights, 3 weeks in advance. I called in they gave me 75 dollar price/nght for the room. Just asked name and credit card info. I received no text message about my booking confirmation nor any email.

Since, they are a small motel that is understandable.

On 22nd sept, some of my friends checked into the hotel and asked the front desk person if My reservation is still there for Friday. They said yes we see them in our 'system' (read: excel sheet).

Next day on 23rd while we were driving to this motel from New Hampshire in the night, we got a call from our friends that they cannot find my reservation and they have booked the motel to its capacity.

Now, intelligent people will understand what the motel people did here. They conveniently 'Erased' my reservation from their Excel sheet row and gave some other walk-in the room for a higher price.

While our friends were confronting the The front desk person on our behalf at 10 pm , he was giving them the worst attitude. Saying things like - 'i cant produce rooms from thin air' and other mean stuff.

Since there is nothing we or our friends could do at that late at night, my friends somehow found a motel 40 mins away for us to stay at for 2 days during the festival.

My advice to the motel is to keep their Humanity at least and not let people strand in the middle of the night just for some 20 or 30 dollars extra in your pocket.

Had my friends not checked in advance and confirmed the reservation with them again for us, we would have been stranded in the...
