Louks & Scoops is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness from the owners, an experience that feels more like being welcomed into someone’s home than a business.

The loukoumades are made fresh to order golden, crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside drizzled with just the right amount of honey and toppings. The ice cream? Silky, rich, and clearly made with top-tier ingredients. Prices are refreshingly fair, especially considering the quality and care that goes into everything.

What truly sets this place apart, though, is the attention to detail. The entire shop is spotless tables, counters, and even the bathrooms, which were immaculately clean when I popped in to wash my hands. That kind of care says everything.

Stopped by Louks & Scoops in Palos Hills and got to try a variety of their treats — and I was impressed! I we had the Turtle Sundae, Lemon Sorbet, the Coffee flavor, Strawberry Shortcake, and what I believe was the Missouri Pothole. Every single flavor was rich, creamy, and super tasty. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their ice cream. I was impressed by the Luxardo cherry’s! I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors!

We also tried the Dubai Chocolate Louks, which had a great flavor and presentation. The only downside was they were served cold, which made the louks (Greek donut balls) a little less enjoyable than they could have been — would’ve loved them warm and crisp.

These loukoumades were legitimately the best ones I have ever eaten, point blank and simple. Forget any Greek-fest loukoumada or Greek cafe where they put it on the menu just to fill their dessert section.. these guys at Louks & Scoops live and breathe for making loukoumades and it shows!

Absolutely nailed their loukoumades which will make me a repeat customer for sure (as well as my friends who never had loukoumades before!) - beyond that though they also had exceptional customer service that went above and beyond. The owner is super personable and clearly has a passion for what he does. The staff handed out free samples to us and other patrons in the restaurant, and the owner even gave out free water bottles.
