Aroi Thai Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Panama City

They've just opened and I've gone here three times already! Twice for takeout and once for dine-in, all three times for lunch. The food is absolutely delectable! Tastes like it was made with love. I've had the tofu pad Thai, the red curry with tofu, the Basil fried rice with tofu, and the spring rolls. All so delicious! One of my coworkers also had the green curry with chicken and said it was the best he's had in Panama City. He also said the fried banana dessert was very good. For carry out, the food was hot and ready on time and service was friendly. For dine-in, the service was still friendly, but a bit slow even though the restaurant was never at more than half capacity. There was also some confusion or miscommunication over the price of one of my coworkers' entrees (he was charged $1 more than expected because he was apparently served a dinner combo even though we were there for lunch, not a big deal). While I was there, one of the employees was also lighting incense, I assume for the Buddha? I really thought it was a nice touch and added to the atmosphere. Taking care of family at the hospital and needed a change from the cafeteria food, did a search for a Thai place and found Aroi Thai on the map.

Yaya and the crew took great care of us! It's a quaint little spot, nicely decorated, and clean. The food on our first visit was so good that we went back the next day. We will DEFINITELY be back again the next time we're in town.

We had the spring rolls as an app both days. Crispy with lots of veggie fillings and a great dipping sauce!

The chicken pad thai is some of the best I've had in a long time. There's only 2 other Thai places I've been to in my 51 years on this planet that rival Aroi's pad thai. Noodles were cooked perfectly, the sauce was excellent and stuck to the noodles & chicken, and the chicken was tender, white meat, and cooked to perfection!

The red shrimp curry had a little heat to it, but so tasty! Big shrimp, cooked just right, in a delicious red curry sauce/soup. Loved it!

The shrimp pad thai was delightful! Again, perfect noodles and sauce and the shrimp were big, tender and cooked perfectly.
