UPDATE: I just wanted to do an update of my husbands and I first experience at the restaurant and I sincerely just want to give credit where credit it due. During the soft opening we did not have a good experience to say the least but the owner reached out with a sincere apology and even offered us a remake on them to give it another try and we were not disappointed. We ordered the exact same thing that we ordered previously which was the red snapper entree (included garlic mash potatoes, the snapper had a cream sauce and we subbed the green beans for Brussels sprouts and we ordered the lamb crusted jerk pasta.) when I say 180 from what we got the first time! I truly enjoy supporting black owned business and I am a sucker for great food and even more the customer service. The ladies were very apologetic from what happened the first time and the food I mean truly was prepared amazingly and came with everything as described. I ordered through DoorDash for lunch and I am impressed!!! I had the Chunky Salad for lunch today, and it completely exceeded my expectations! This isn’t your average salad tossed together with pre-packaged ingredients—every element was clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The lettuce was fresh, hand-washed, and crisp, the tomatoes were perfectly ripe and expertly sliced with no imperfections, and the bacon was a perfect balance of crispy and tender. The worst food truck I’ve ever came by; me and my friend were thrilled to try it for the first time and ready. Yet the lemon pepper wings were not only so small; they also didn’t taste like lemon pepper, tasted so much worse than that. Then came the loaded fries, the fries were barely cooked and hard to find under all the cheese; yet after a couple bites I gave up on eating it because it was one of the worst things I’ve ever tried in my life. 1-10 I give them only a 3 because the people there are hard working and amazing at heart.
