TL;DR: Hands down, will eat here again. Also, home-made corn tortillas!
This is an authentic feeling and very tasty option for local Mexican Restaurants.
I accidentally ordered the horchata and it was really good (and free refills). They also have Pepsi products and Jarritos (mexican sodas).
The first food item to hit your table is as expected: chips and salsa. The salsa was good, and I like led the chips as well. They were not the thinner variety of chips, but still taste great. This is a shared bowl restaurant for salsa so no double dipping.
For the meal, my wife and I shared two meals. At their recommendation, we tried the Birria Tacos. Wow.... My wife doesn't like onions so I ended up eating most of them. For those (like myself) who don't know what Birria is before ordering it, it's like pot roast, but you also have the juice it was cooked in to dip your tacos in. These are made with delicious home made corn tortillas.
It comes with two sides. My wife loved their refried beans, and I can vouch for the quality of the Mexican rice.
For a more unusual addition to our meal, we ordered Tito's Fries. Think thinly chopped chicken and steak piled on a bed of fresh fries and then smothered in queso. While the Birria Tacos made a delicious meal, this is the kind of dish I'd gladly order on the way home as an appetizer while cooking supper at home.
My daughter had the staple of any Mexican restaurant we visit: Chicken Cheese and Rice. It was as outstanding as any I've had.
Service and atmosphere can make or break any restaurant but there should be no worries here. Our service was above and beyond. Our server helped with food recommendations (and we're spot onfor our first meal). My glass was rarely low and everything was accompanied with a smile.
New paragraph just to emphasize how beautiful the murals on the walls are. Although it feels relatively laid back, it's very beautiful.
On future trips, I have my eye on a few interesting menu items such as Aguachile, Mojarras, and some mouthwatering...

FOOD: Fajitas - They were good! I enjoyed the flavor. Easy to chew. Rice - Standard Pico - High lacking. They barely gave me a sprinkle. I love pico, so I would have enjoyed like a full scoop of it. Chips - They’re the thick style, I prefer the thin. Salsa - Too sweet & sour. I feel like I bit into a raw tomato. Needs to be more savory & spicy. White Queso - It’s good! Close to standard. I like it a little better than the competitors in town.
Food: Overall good 👍🏻
Atmosphere: Lacking A LOT! The floors look terrible. A good fix would be to remove and resurface the concrete floors with stain instead. The chipped paint looks so bad. Needs to upgrade the look of the checkout desk. The paintings on the wall tho, do look so nice and creative. I have to give them that! Would have been nice to have some light Latin music playing in the background.

Wonderful food! Great service! So good I'll probably never eat at any other Mexican restaurant here in Paragould. Like, they blew my taste buds away with the Birria tacos 🌮 I ordered and don't even get me started on the pineapple water 😍🍹🍍so refreshing and light ❤️ I love this place! Will be back a great many times. 🙌 💰 take my money 💸 🤣
Now for the negatives 😱
The tables are a bit small and I was afraid I was going to knock the plates or cups at any given moment off in the floor. I also heard the owner mention flan and other sweets for after the main meal but none of those as far as I could tell were listed on the menus. So you'll need to ask for dessert options if you have a sweet tooth. Hopefully the menus will be updated soon and they can buy a bigger place one day....
