Caddy Shack — Restaurant in Pardeeville

**BEWARE!! The online menu prices at Caddy Shack are NOT as they appear. We ordered two shrimp baskets TO GO today (11/5/20) and when my husband arrived there to pick them up, EACH dinner was priced $1.30 higher ($9.65) than the online price (the shrimp baskets online were marked as ‘Today’s Special’ at $8.35 each). He was also surprised with a 20% charge ($4.00) added on as a ‘gratuity.’ No one mentioned the increased menu prices nor the mandatory 20% gratuity on a pick up order (REALLY??) when the order was called in. What should have been an $18 order ended up being just under $25, a $7 increase! That increase buys another complete meal at most places. No wonder my husband was the ONLY person in the place over the lunch hour. WILL NOT RETURN!! *Not sure if the business owner increased the prices and added on the gratuity or if it was done by the two female employees working today. Either way, it is RIDICULOUS to make those increases without the customer being made aware ahead of time! Caddy Shack employees aren’t the only ones hurting financially these days!

Update: lol If you click on the MENU here, it says the shrimp basket is $7.00, if you click on the Caddy Shack WEBSITE under Daily Specials for Thursday the shrimp basket is priced at $8.35, and then when you pick up your shrimp they surprise you with a charge of $9.65 for the shrimp basket. Three different prices on the same menu item and then a mandatory 20% gratuity on top of that for simply dropping the shrimp and fries in the fryer for a TAKE OUT order?!? BTW, the shrimp basket was skimpy and just meh. Good luck getting...

Well, my tired butt was exhausted after a busy fish fry Friday at my work, my sweet husband took me for a drive along the country side in Amishville land to this place. He hadn't been there since his 20 something's and wanted to see how the place was doing since his last visit. Walked in and the place was so nice and cool, and they had 80s music on the satellite radio, we sat, immediately the friendly server took our drink orders. We just had the mini tacos and wings as a starter. I tried a med rare double Mushroom Swiss deluxe. Should read the menu better..it was a 1/2 burger omg. My hubby had the house burger The Caddy. Well, needless to say ....oh ....my....goodness...out came the monster burgers! The server dropped off the goods and gave us the "good luck with that look" and blazed. 😂

I tapped out mid way, left overs I guess.

I ordered a drink and had to ask multiple times for it, the bartender came back and asked what the mixer was and I told him. He then went and put the alcohol In It then Walked away to talk to someone at the end of the bar while my drink sat there unfinished and when one of my friends brought it up and said they should put an extra shot in it and they would pay for it they must not of heard that because they said they can’t do that things got loud and another bartender got involved and was saying how we needed to be nice. I get that I understand it but things get frustrating when your bartender can’t pay attention for 5 minutes to make your drink cuz he got to high before work or something, or maybe he’s forgetful either way he should probs do a little better. I typically have good experiences there but this was the worst and I don’t think I’ll be back this out a bad taste in my mouth. Plus there are better...
