The Kitchen Table Diner — Restaurant in Pardeeville

While I understand what they're trying to do and think that the menu options are fine. The kitchen operation is not smooth. I waited an hour for an omelet which came out runny in the middle. My coffee was not refilled regularly. And they turned lots of traffic away at the door. Quoting, it will be 30 minutes until the table opens up. When I had been there as a single before 1 hour, waiting for it, one omelet no sides....

As somebody who has worked years in the restaurant industry, this place could be a very nice niche breakfast location. If they were able to facilitate faster turnaround in the kitchen.

Visiting a new restaurant is always a bit of a gamble- this this gamble paid off BIG! Some friends and I had breakfast there recently. We all had the stuffed French toast- the special for the day. It was HUGE and delicious. It looked very appealing, and was priced very reasonably ($8). The server was attentive and friendly, despite being somewhat busy.

The atmosphere was comfortable- nothing to fancy but also not too plain. I will definitely return again. I hope this new business thrives. It's hard- especially in a small town- to keep a restaurant open. I hope this one...

Nice cozy little place. Amazing fish fry and available to go! Pardeeville really needed this. The breakfast is great as well. People want to talk about pricing and wait time, but this is a small place with limited staff. Sure it took a little bit, but as we watched the server we were amazed at how efficiently she managed her tables (full bar with approximately 10 customers) and at least 6 full tables with everyone pretty much arriving at once. Amazing the server and kitchen could keep up with this volume....
