If you’re looking for authentic Italian food - look elsewhere. We stopped in hoping for a nice evening out with our family. We’d simply looked at the general reviews but should have looked deeper at individual reviews.

The food took quite a while to get to us and once we had it - everything we ordered was lackluster and seemed prepackaged. The portions were small, the chicken breasts in both of our meals were thinly sliced and had the texture of frozen chicken breasts. The flavor of our dishes was a bit bland.

We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer but what we received was “their bruschetta” but not traditional bruschetta. It was literally garlic bread slapped with cheese, baked and then topped with a sliced tomatoes. That’s not bruschetta. I also had to pick several inedible pieces from my salad.

The service was okay. Multiple people circled to check on the tables and make sure waters were full. The ambiance was okay, kind of dark in the restaurant as a whole.

The prices are somewhat fair for the quality - which is bland, lackluster, and seemed pre-prepped - but if you’re wanting quality, authentic Italian food - look elsewhere. I don’t think we will...

This is a small town family owned restaurant that really does a great job. Their food is very good at a very reasonable price. We had a large pizza and a shared Ceasar salad that was more food than the two of us could eat. I love the dinner rolls served with the salad and that they split the salad before they brought it to us and still it looked like two very generous servings. We had wine by the glass and really enjoyed our meal tonight. The servers did a great job. The only minor negatives were that they don't have pizza stands and so we had to really crowd the table to find room for all the pizza ordered . Also they would not divide up the check before the end for a large table. We wanted to order and have seperate tickets as some were drinking wine and some were not. Big difference. But at the cash out they just let us tell them what we had and they took our word for it. Can't complain about that. Overall a great experience and we...

We landed On this little nook for our date Friday night. There is plenty of parking. Walked in greeted with a smile and the popular question how many? Table or booth? As we walked everything look clean floor, chairs tables, loved the decor soothing with a nice quiet atmosphere. Did notice that the restaurant need extra hands as it gets busy,(Waiters and clean up crew) I'll consider to hire more help. Wich means be patient your drink might be delay a few, not to bad though. The conplimentary bread they bring (abruptly noice)was ! FANTASTIC!!! food was delicious warm and good timing on bringing it out between our appetizers. The only thing is a scoop or half a scoop more would not hurt on the portions, as it will fill the bowl and plate for a good picture. ;) Service always had a smile and polite. All around it was a good night. If you like as they say " a little hole in the wall" this is one a hidden Gem. Stop by you won't be...

Visiting Paris, TX on our road trip and this place comes highly recommended on Google. Once you experience the service and the food, you'll understand why! They are short'staffed like every other business in the world, but that doesn't impact the quick and friendly service. The manager (owner) stopped by and told us about how fresh everything thing is. The pasta is not boxed and clearly handmade. Apparently it's made nearby and brought in twice a week. All the sauces are scratch made, the veggies and cheese cut in the kitchen daily. The prices are fantastic and the portions are generous. My only suggestion: the eggplant parm sub needs seasoning; perhaps some more salt and garlic. Definitely a popular place with the locals and worth a visit if you're ever in Paris, TX!

I've heard good things about this place, so figured I'd try it out. Interior is cozy and well-kept, and the waitstaff friendly. No public wifi. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine alfredo. Not a very generous portion, but I can live with that. Unfortunately, it was not really worth the wait, and certainly not worth the price. It was bad. Not bad-tasting - there was no flavor to it at all. It re-defines the word bland. Even adding parmesan didn't help. Also, there was a weird chemical-ish aftertaste. I can still taste it half an hour later. In a town full of mostly mediocre restaurants, Cappizzi's is not a place I can recommend. I certainly won't be going back.

Not bad for the middle of nowhere but not great by city standards. A personal drink in the fridge is a big no-no! Food was decent. Nothing to write home about but there aren't that many options in the area, so it was ok. The salad was actually the highlight of the meal. It was fresh, cold and crispy. Not a big wine selection and the one that stood out to me they were almost out of, so she brought me half the glass and didn't charge for it. Not a big loss since it ended up not being very exciting anyway. Bathroom could use a major update. The decor in the restaurant is tired.
