“Barn Find” pizza, old school small town, no ties to a franchise, beer drinkin’ and pool shootin’ Friday night local hang out place. The medium sized ain’t medium. It is large by most pizza joint standards. An Italian sausage with a side salad for us. The thin crust pizza was paved with plenty of cheese and big sausage chunks. The side salad was simple: fresh iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and a hand full of shredded cheddar cheese, with a cup of dressing on the side.
Friendly service in this well-worn building that has a rustic/honkytonk décor. I looked, but I couldn’t find the juke box. The Pizza Hut in town died years ago and that building is now a….guess what. You are catching on if you said Mexican Restaurant. Your only other pizza alternatives are Casey’s or a frozen Tombstone pizza from Walmart. Don’t do it.
