We went there for an early dinner a few weeks ago. It was fairly crowded and we were told it would be a 30 minute wait which was fine with us..We sat outside and enjoyed the view while we waited. We were seated in an area at a table next to a family who came in right after us. After about 10 minutes I started looking around trying to catch the attention of a server to take our drink orders. Several employees walked right past us after making eye contact. 15 minutes later no one had come to take our drink orders or our food requests. The table with the family who came in after us got their drinks and appetizers while we continued to wait. It was obvious that we hadn't ordered yet because we still had our menus. When the table next to us got their entrees, and we were still waiting to give our orders, we decided to leave. My husband tracked down someone. He may have been a manager. He said sorry about that. I'll be happy to take your drink orders now. We declined. Any of the servers who had walked back and forth past us for over 30 minutes could have summoned a hostess or taken out...

I really enjoyed my time here. I came with a large group for lunch and arrived earlier than planned. Victoria and Amber Lee (sp) let us know they were already working on getting a section ready for us. They took us to our seats and I was happy to see they positioned us with a great view of the lake. Our server was Brandie and she easily handled our order and was accommodating to all of our requests. The food came out great and was fast considering the size of our group. The person who made the biggest positive impact of my visit was Ashley at the bar. I had a few questions, and I saw she was busy trying to open the bar, but she patiently listened and provided the most thoughtful suggestions to what I needed. Two hours later, she remembered my name and asked how things turned out. Something small like that, made a lasting impression with...

The best thing about this restaurant is the location. The inside of the restaurant is sterile and gives cafeteria vibes. The staff is mostly completely aloof and gives off the impression that they don’t want to be there. I get that they probably would like to be anywhere else, but in that line of work (especially when you’re working for tips), it probably shouldn’t be so obvious.

The food is mediocre, at best. I’ve eaten there twice. The first time, the food was just okay. This last time, the “special” was supposed to be three pieces of fried chicken with truffle Mac n cheese. I received one piece of a small, overly cooked piece of roasted chicken with the side. The chicken was so dry that it was tough to chew, and I almost couldn’t swallow it. If it weren’t for the outdoor patio and view, there would be no reason to eat at...

This place has really changed since I last visited home in 2007! They have really put 40 million to good use in the rebuilding of the lodge. I wished they could have used some of that to find workers with a smile on their face and customer service skills. We walked into the restaurant and was greeted with two sulking hostesses that never one time had a smile on their face. One had an attitude when we were trying to explain to her what time our reservation was for. After we got seated our server came to the table. She was polite, lacking a smile and not very friendly at all. The food was sub-par at best. Portions were super small. The broccoli tasted like propane, the salmon was extremely salty, the lamb was decent. The only thing that was really, really good was the banana pudding. The best I have ever had!
