The Rock Cafe — Restaurant in Paris

Young staff with little experience. No greetings or interaction at all, just blank looks, or they are looking at their phones. Where is the service in that? "Faith-based" atmosphere consists of somewhat loud contemporary Christian music playing (great if you like that and are in the mood but couldn't hear my name called by the somewhat new and shy staff), a few cute signs and a bookshelf offering a very limited selection of devotionals, bible, t-shirt and hat for sale at prices you might see elsewhere. $20 t-shirt, $50 bible. For a place that professes Jesus, it seems lifeless and cold. I can listen to loud music in my car, but other than that, where is the faith being exhibited?

Food was average. Was in the mood for a good burger. Thought I'd give a try. Quality is just slightly above fast food, maybe?

They have several flavors of hand dipped ice cream, milkshakes, banana splits, and specialty latte drinks. I sort of had to get ice cream, not only because it looked good but more to get the taste of the nasty french fry out of my mouth. II couldn't finish eating the meal. Fries did not come out crisp. They were greasy and quickly became inedible. Forced down the burger since it was a bit pricey. I had to repeat my order twice and also asked them to repeat what they were saying because of music...

My friend and I went to this restaurant for lunch a few days ago we each ordered separately but I paid cost was $22 which seemed to be a bit pricey but not knowing what she ordered didn't really give much thought after we picked up the order and I realized that we each had the same items (taco salad and ice tea) so knowing that the order board stated a taco salad as $5.89 and looking at the receipt realized that I had been charged $9.18 per salad so with receipt in hand I went to the counter and questioned the charge only to be told that there is an extra charge of 3.29 for the meat!Who serves a taco salad without meat! Bad enough to be ripped off on the price but the salads didn't even have maybe about 2 Tbsp of ground beef, very little shredded cheese, and the lettuce was mostly hard end pieces! Needless to say that I will never set foot in The Rock Cafe again! It should be noted as theft by deception according price paid for...

Tonight there were several cars in line way before 8:00 pm and instead of waiting on the cars that were in line they cut the window right at 8:00. I thought this was rude and won't be coming to this place to sponsor them during covid. I have worked several restaurants at closing and it has always been policy that you don't close until the last car has come through. Maybe if you had faster service your customers wouldn't have to wait in line so long but they don't mind you waiting over 30 mins in line when you are there before closing. Stores like this dont get it if you loose customers every day then it won't be long before you close altogether. Definitely have...
