When I place an order, I expect to get exactly what I ordered and not be overcharged. I asked for two egg specials, one was completely correct. The 2nd one, I asked for the potato cake instead of home fries and a side of Hollandaise sauce. It shows my receipt that the homefries were added to the cost of the meal (which weren't in the box), instead the waitress charged me for the potato cake separately. Whoever the female manager was, she was rude, disrespectful to my boy friend (a customer) when he brought my order back and walked in, she yelled to him, "You must be Mr. Hollandaise!) Now how do you think he (your customer) felt when everyone was looking at him? We come there quite frequently, but for your manager to act like she's in high school and shout out an insulting name to a customer, in front of the whole restaurant is completely unexceptable! If you have that type of unprofessional person as your manager, we'll just start going back to Daddy O's! At least their employees are never rude! Follow up to Manager's response: Contrary to what she claimed, we had a friend that was dining and heard/saw the whole thing. In what world would a 60 year old man be jumping up and screaming I'm getting a refund, let alone jumping. As an owner and manger, she should know that disrespecting a customer, lying, and having no manners are unacceptable. Especially when she admitted on the phone that it it was their mistake for not checking the bag before it left the restaurant.

Honestly this sucked. Got the western sandwich and chicken Parm entree. Sandwich, expected a piece of ham with an over easy egg topped with onions and peppers. Instead it was a small dry omelette on toast. Chicken Parm kinda sucked too. Didn't have any parmesan, pasta was cooked good but chicken was flavorless and sauce was sweet. Garlic knots we're almost a wheat bread and burnt. Fries were double fried and very oily. I don't think I'd try this again. Pricing was pretty high too. Would have been better off at a gas station.

I visited this little town to get my RV serviced. The folks at the Ford shop suggested Market Square for a good breakfast. They were not wrong! Its a quaint diner that seemed to be handling covid-19 protocol well. I ordered the Irish Benedict (which is your classic Benedict with corned beef hash) w/ home fries. The hollandaise was not overly salty like some places tend to make it, and the hash was nice and crispy. The waitstaff were all very friendly and attentive. Check them out!

Let me start by saying....I think this place can do better....

We went out for my MIL's birthday, this was the place she chose and was excited to try out. We drove from Shelburne, NH....39mi each way.

We ordered the potato skins, when we took a bite we immediately noticed something was wrong. The smell and taste of mold was strong. We picked up the plate and took a whiff...mold was all you could smell. Brought it up to the waitress and she removed it from the bill.

MIL wanted to order rib eye but it was out of stock..(MIL bummed) settled on steak tips.

Kids ordered mac & cheese. One of the orders came out with a big burnt chunk of mac & cheese. I figured "oh well, my kids 3 he won't even notice"....

Oldest daughters Fajita wrap was bland.

The Mountain Dew was off, not sure if the syrup was low?

I will say the meatloaf was GREAT and my wife enjoyed her wrap.

We order dessert and there was no Boston creme pie. (again MIL was bummed) The cheesecake as good, however, the strawberry shortcake biscuit was WAAAAAY over microwaved. It was rubbery as can be!

The waitress was pleasant and polite.

Over all the experience was meh. Its too bad, the menu looked really good and robust. We certainly hoped for a...

Market Square has always been our go-to when we are in the area! Great waitstaff and amazing down home food. It is always hard when someone new takes over. We went a week ago and we’re very disappointed. There was not one familiar waitress there. The whole staff had changed. Our waitress was slow to come over and get our drink order. The restaurant was not exceptional busy. She took our order for lunch and then left to chat with another table of customers and show them pictures of her child. We watched people come in and give their orders. Our waitress would not make any eye contact even though we had waited 20 minutes for our food. At one point she came to a table beside us and when she went to leave my husband tried to get her attention…she walked off. A couple came in and sat across from us. The customer noticed our frustration and asked if we had been waiting long……. Our food came. My husbands food was good, my fried were soggy and cold but the haddock sandwich was hotter than the hinges of hell. Our waitress brought the other couples food 5 or 10 minutes after we were served. Not...
