Absolutely pathetic, order ribeye and New York strip, first photo is from another table, that's not a 16 dollar ribeye. Owner said they just reheat the meat, that was absolutely saddening, the assistant manager actually apologized and tried to at least fix the situation. Very disappointed. Front of house did great, they were fantastic, but the kitchen sucked

Had lunch in Paris, Tn the other day. Tom’s had a Ponderosa type feel. Kinda cheap like. I had the ribeye steak with mixed veggies. The steak was tough but had good flavor. It was overpriced in my opinion. My colleague had the spicy sirloin. It was tough as well. The service was phenomenal! I would definitely give them another shot.

Sadly the menu gives you the sense that the prices you see are the actual prices for the steaks. A steak that any other place would be $8 to $12 they want $22 for it, because they say that the price they pay for an 8oz steak is $12.99. When in The store the same steak can cost you half of the price. The baked potato is really small.

I really hate leaving bad reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with restaurants that serve steak. I was treating my mother, uncle, and aunts to a birthday lunch.

We were seated promptly by a nice hostess.

The waitress took drink orders and appetizers then came back and got the entree order. Everyone except my Uncle ordered steak, he ordered a cheeseburger. I ordered my steak med rare and so did one of my aunts. When our food arrived my steak had one small piece that had med raw and the rest grey throughout. Same for may Aunt. They don’t like to fuss and neither do i but to go from the requested med rare to grey tells me a few things.

Having worked as a waiter in multiple restaurants including a steakhouse and a frequent visitor of numerous actual steakhouses I guess my expectations are a bit more than sub par.

Steaks were barely seared. And seared incorrectly.

a. Either the grill or broiler was not at the right temperature

b. Or the meat was cold and coming out of the walk-in too cold

When you marinate a steak it becomes harder to tell the temperature unless you know what you’re doing.

a. Cook was very inexperienced and can’t tell the temperature of the steak by sight

b. Steaks that are marinated should be temp checked with a digital thermometer.

When I asked the waitress to have the cooks remake it I should have know by how quickly my food came back that they pulled one off the grill.

This furthers my point that the cook is inexperienced and seems to be guessing.

Steak came to the table blue rare. Had grill marks but was raw.

Manager never came by, no follow up from waitress. Drinks stayed empty most of the meal. Again I hate complaining but I know good food and service and this place is lacking in both

If a manager or owner is reading this, you should seriously be ashamed. I recently went to Texas Roadhouse and had better quality food, better selections and portions and paid less for better service and overall experience.

If your going to charge market prices or premium prices for your food then it should live up to some basic standards like being edible.

Total bill was 133.xx Tipped 20.00 - btw that’s a bad tip from me

Considering the experience I don’t suppose anything will come of this review. If you would like someone to come and teach your staff how it should be done please contact me.

I do not expect I will give them another chance without some sort of guarantee that issues have been addressed. I would recommend others not either.

The salad bar was the best thing...

This was a first visit to this establishment for my family. The price was worthy of the food and the service personnel at this establishment.

First off, to feed our family is not an easy thing to do. As they have gotten older, our family tastes are uniquely diverse. There were nine of us, including one under 2 years old.

The staff listened to the needs for a larger group with a highchair. They seated us at one of the spacious tables for a large group. They asked about the check and began taking our beverage orders. Sweet Tea...Diet Coke...and waters with PLENTY of lemons. They got the beverages back to us in a timely manner.

The next challenge to the staff and to customers was ordering entrees. Steak and catfish plates were ordered all around. All of the main entrees come with the bottomless salad bar, so everyone adjourned to get salads. For the little one, the crackers on the salad bar were a great 'appetizer' to satisfy.

When the entrees began to arrive, the waiter was astute to remove the empty salad plates following a polite request, 'may I remove the empty or unused plates?' Refreshing. The plates were announced to our table for the waiter to deliver them to the correct location.

The service staff were attentive to our needs for sauces, refills of beverage glasses, and to quickly remove plates which were emptied. This attention is a must for customer "white glove" service to be premium. Many service personnel at other establishments do not do this for their customers. However. This establishment prioritizes this practice for their customers. A quick glance across the cafeteria location, i recognized the tables were not littered with empty, "used" plates or dishes.

As our dining progressed, we enjoyed the attention from the service staff. The attention given from the staff is extended to request if we desired some of our drinks to go. We opted not to do this, but it was a refreshing request for our own pleasure.

The total experience was very pleasing and relaxing from a customer standpoint. This is an establishment to which I will return with my family. I can hartily recommend this location for excellent service, tasteful food, and a clean and friendly atmosphere for enjoying friends, family and fellowship over a great meal.

Focus on the Customer's dining, food and atmosphere, are always a means of ensuring that good food and focused service entice customers to return to a repeat experience. Thank you, Tom's staff, for a delightful...

I ordered the tilapia, I have gotten it there before not to mention other places. It came out mushy and clear. I complained it wasn't cooked and they took it back and claimed to have cooked it more even though the fish had clearly not left the plate.

Even after "cooking it more", the fish was still clear and mushy which is not what cooked tilapia looks like. Cooked tilapia is white and firm and flaky. When I refused to eat it I was told they had received several complaints on the fish and it was just the latest batch.

Okay so if you know something is wrong with this batch, why keep serving it? Though I don't believe it was something in the fish that caused it to remain clear and rubbery after cooking. Despite their claims to the contrary I believe they were microwaving it to "cook" it, especially since the fish wasn't taken off the plate when I sent it back but the kale garnish came back out hot and wilted.

The manager did take $5 off my meal and instead of charging me for the fish he charged me for the salad bar.....even though I only got 1 plate of salad that was included with the dinner and he only adjusted the price when I was at the register complaining about being charged for food I wasn't going to rish my health eating. He did not offer to adjust my bill when I complained the first or second time about the clear, mushy fish. Instead he just tried to explain what fish is supposed to look and taste, not realizing that after eating fish for almost half a century, I might already know (even after telling him I had gottenit there a coupleof times before).

Regardless, his handling of the situation rather than the improperly cooked food is why we (my family or the friends I was with) won't...
