Experience: Jerry our waiter didn’t even say hi or introduced himself. He seemed busy, but restaurant wasn’t even half full. Later he was having some fun long conversation with one table that seemed to be his friends. When taking our order he kept looking to different directions?!! Didn’t come back to ask how the food taste. Only came back to give us a check.
Food: Ordered TT Salad (Chef’s Specialty) - couldn’t eat it as it was soaked in salt. Not balanced at all. Lady that brought other food and took a salad didn’t acknowledge that salad was barely touched! Ordered a roll without tuna. It came with tuna anyways!!! My husband tasted it and tuna wasn’t even stale!! Rolls lacked rice! You could see nori sheets. It all fell apart which is an indication of old rice. $27 for such a roll?!?
Please check larger cities and their sushi that is fresh and not overpriced or close this nonsense!

We waited for 10 min at the front as there was no receptionist while the manager and waiters glanced our way but didn’t come over. Finally the receptionist walks up with no apology and says they are full. Only 3 tables were seated. I was confused and inquired and they said they had reservations. We ended up sitting in a lounge area above the restaurant and to my surprise the tables remained empty. If you want to be treated poorly then by all means try this restaurant. What a disappointment. This is my first stay a Montage Hotel and I will be taking my business back to the 4 Seasons...

He’s incredible passionate about his job and if you ask, he will teach you so much about the food. TJ and Julianna also took very good care of me. I had the Toro hand roll, sushi nachos (YUM), a Peruvian-inspired Gazpacho dish w/ Japanese snapper, and a king crab dish that melted in my mouth.
