If possible to give zero stars, I would, this was one of the worst dining experience in my life. The food was average, at best, the service was poor with a total of 4 waiters during the night and this meal cost 4 times what it should have. Course by course experience below.

Course 1 - Touting melted cheese inspired by a centuries old practice in the Swiss Alps, we instead were served with a solid, warm plate of cheese that had to be cut to eat.

Course 2- A triangular shaped piece of potato cake, 2 bowls of some type of soups left us unsure of what the intention was for this serving. Waiter 2 seemed equally confused. We were also served salads but instead of a salad plate we were left to try and figure out where to serve the salad, waiter 2 had no idea either.

Course 3 - A large bowl of mashed potatoes, a salad plate size portion of butternut squash and an equal size portion of meat, to serve a party of eight. Both the squash and meat portions were not sufficient to feed a party of 4. The venison was rarer than rare, bordering on raw with no flavor at all and the prime rib and lamb were thin and uninspired.

At this point in the evening, our party had had enough and chose to skip desert. However, the greatest surprise of the night was ahead. Our bill for the night was over $1,400, over $180 per person for food on the level of Quincy’s or Western Sizzlin’.

I cannot express how massively disappointing this meal was and have no idea why anyone would choose to eat here, unless you desire for a excruciatingly...

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Fireside Dining, and it was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was meticulously planned and executed, making the month-long wait for our reservation absolutely worth it.

The experience began with an interactive and delightful cheese tasting, featuring perfectly melted selections by the fire. The warmth of the fire paired with the rich, gooey cheese was an indulgent start to the evening.

We then moved on to the second section, where a variety of fire-roasted meats were served. Each bite was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into both the preparation and presentation.

The final section was a culinary highlight. Featuring steak options and lamb cooked to absolute perfection, this course was a testament to the restaurant’s expertise in fine dining. The tender, well-seasoned meats and the overall ambiance created an experience that was nothing short of magical.

The atmosphere of Fireside Dining is as noteworthy as the food itself. Sitting by the fire while enjoying a progression of dishes was not just a meal. It was an experience. The warmth, the cozy setting, and the outstanding service tied everything together seamlessly.

This is one of those rare places where the dining experience feels special, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something unique and memorable. Fireside Dining is not just a restaurant; it’s an adventure for the...

My friend and I dined here in early January 2025. Part of the appeal of Fireside other than the pricy buffet style dinner ($120 per person) was the option to add on a horse carriage ride. Unfortunately, the restaurant accidentally skipped our turn the night we were there. We were disappointed given we were leaving town in a couple days, but our wait staff was very apologetic and ensured us they would get in touch with another property to arrange a carriage ride prior to our departure from UT. It was a nice gesture, but then we never heard back. We followed up with the restaurant the next day (to our surprise, nobody seemed to know what we were talking about) and were eventually connected with the manager, Johnathan. While he made an effort to set us up with a carriage ride, he was unsuccessful due to several private events that weekend and then offered to reimburse us for our meal instead. We were appreciative and immediately provided the payment information he requested. We then never heard back. Weeks passed, we made various follow up phone calls and email attempts without any response. This restaurant/staff completely ghosted us. This experience has ultimately been quite frustrating given the facade of above and beyond customer service they provided. We do not plan to return on...

Restaurants in Park City that are actually worth the hype! Fireside Dining at Deer Valley Resort @Deer Valley Resort is one of those experiences you have to do at least once. cozy alpine lodge vibes, fireplaces everywhere, candlelight, and servers bringing food straight from the fire. It’s a four-course meal, super communal, and everything feels warm and comforting after a day in the mountains. The raclette alone is worth the visit — melted by the fire and scraped right onto potatoes, meats, and veggies 🤤. Add stews, roasted meats, fondue, dessert, and a solid drink menu, and you’re set. 📍Empire Canyon Lodge, Deer Valley Resort – Park City, Utah 🚗 Valet parking only 📅 Reservations are a MUST ❄️ You can even pair it with a horse-drawn sleigh ride If you’re planning a Park City trip and want a restaurant that lives up to the hype, save this one.
