Cassidy's Pub & Outdoor Mini-Golf — Restaurant in Parkland

I love the outdoor area here and enjoying coming in to sit around the fire, and I always have a good experience except when the older blonde bartender is working. She is always rude to me and I'm not sure why. My first bad experience with her is when I came in one time with a friend who is a regular. When I came in she assumed we were an item and asked my friend where her ex was (like she was trying to call her out in front of me) she didn't realize they weren't together anymore, but it's still not her business. I can't stand bar staff that get into their customers business and try to start drama. For the rest of the evening she didn't ask me one time if I needed a drink. From that point on I would leave if I ever came in and saw her behind the bar. Well, I came in the other evening because I wanted to sit out back and enjoy the weather. I saw her behind the bar and decided to give her another chance. I ordered a beer and went out back with my friend. I turned the fire table on at it's lowest setting just for ambiance, and she immediately came out and asked why I had turned it on. I told her that's the whole reason I come there and had it at it's lowest setting. She replied with "Well, it still costs the bar money" so I replied "Well, I'm a paying customer, so I don't see the problem here, but I'll be more than happy to take my business elsewhere" of course then she started backtracking, but I was already over it at that point, so I closed my tab and left. It blows my mind that a business would give their customers a hard time during these hard financial times surrounding this pandemic, but I guess they just don't value their customers enough. Anyway, we shot across the way to Little Vic's and enjoyed the rest of our evening there. The bartender was friendly as always and we got fantastic service. Get it together Cassidy's! Cassidy's is a fun place to hang out. The staff is super friendly and attentive, providing excellent service, superior to most other places. The food is fantastic and so are the drinks! The food menu and beverage options are huge. They offer a different special daily. I began coming here a few weeks ago to play in a dart league with my daughter and we're having a blast!! Our first night of league, they had karaoke (Thursday night). I don't know how often they have karaoke, as it wasn't happening our 2nd week of league, but I'll edit my review when I find out. They have several pool tables and dart boards, a Skeeball game, and there's even an 18-hole miniature golf course out back, (which is currently free to play). It's a great place to watch the Seahawks (and other sporting events)! They have multiple 55" TVs, both inside and outside with plenty of seating throughout. There's a huge deck out back, with a fire pit and a couple of outdoor heaters for those chilly nights. There are 40 different pull tab bowls to choose from, including special bowls like their "In Til You Win" bowl and a Happy Hour bowl, where the top prize is doubled if you win it during the happy hour. They give discounts on food and drinks for anyone who plays a minimum of $20. Cassidy's is a great place for hanging out with your friends, or even by yourself! The most Disgusting place I have ever been to! Old and stale atmosphere. First steps into bar, my feet stuck to the floor! The area with carpeting was squishy? I couldn't tell if it was soaked with Years of alcohol or if it was currently wet with whatever it was (I dont want to know).. again..feet stuck wherever I stepped. The bathroom, was like going in to a small broom closet, that hadn't seen a clean day in 30 years. The drinks?..I ordered a bottled beer..just to be "safe." I've been to plenty of bars that poured on the heavy side..which has never been a problem in the past. But our group ordered shots of Vitamin C. What came however..was more like what I'd think gasoline and rubbing alcohol mixed together might taste like. That was just quick observation from barely touching the rocket fuel fluid to my lips. No one in our party drank their shots. Other people in the bar playing darts and such seemed pretty cool. A few Suggestions to the owner(s) of Cassidy's: Open up the place and air it out! Get a cleaning crew in there.. you might be amazed with what using actual cleaning products would do for a place! And for gods sake, just because there is a Shamrock on your sign of fluorescent green, does Not mean that you need fluorescent green lights strung all...
