Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Pasadena

This was not acceptable what happened there. I went to the store today 1/19/2017 I received my DQ BOGO coupon that I recive every once in a while, buy a small or medium blizzard and get on free same or smaller size. I went to go redeem it at the store, this man reads my printed BOGO coupon ando ask me if it was my birthday and I kindly told him no, i replied with it's a coupon I received for being a member. Another lady gathers around him and reads it as well, they walk to the back and look at some other papers they have there the papers are my previous visits there with my BOGO Coupon and the lady along with the man come up to me and tell me I can only do this once a year. as she rips my coupon in half!! the lady ripped my paper and put it in the trash! She told I could not be doing that! I tried to explain to them I get the from being a member and have the emails to prove it and they just ignored me after the lady ripped the papers and walked away. I ask to speak to the manager, and finally the man that first attended me told me he just arrived. So I wait for him. I tell him what's going on and he tells me the same thing that the other employees told me. I told him to check EVERY Barcode on EVERY coupon to prove that they where all valid coupons. He replied to me that they don't have anything to read the Barcode so it doesn't mean anything to him. What kind of business is being run here when the place doesn't accept a coupon. I am extremely upset. A simple explanation would have been enough, but ripping the paper in front of me and tossing it in the trash?! Made me look like I was doing something wrong or illegal in front of the other people standing there. I'm really emotionaly upset about this. Please...

Poor customer service and cleanliness standards. First off the guy was being rude from behind the counter and treating us as we were trying to get over for drinks we had purchased. Then the same Guy who I assume to be an owner sent an employee who made the mistake of giving him the wrong size to take the being used cup from my co worker. Then he placed the used cup back with the others. I immediately requested a refund and paid for the drinks and left. Employees are required to have safeserv training.....this service and behavior today was unacceptable. People like this are the people who don't like to waste and lack respect for those patronizing their business- to prevent waste they will risk...

Went here and I had no bad experience, BUT I did see really bad customer service. A man asked for some extra ketchup for his order, and the manager told him "you don't need anymore ketchup, you have enough." Finally after a few remarks the manager throws ketchup in the bag and says "here!" After that the man asked if he could also have some ranch to where the manager replied "No, ypu have ketchup. Is ketchup not good enough for you? No, no ranch!" He later went on to ignore him. Horrible business practice and I don't recommend people to go somewhere where the manager/owner is super cheap at the expense of his own customers. Never...
