I absolutely LOVE this donut store!!! The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly, no matter what time of morning it is (as someone who used to have to regularly open a coffee store at 5am, I know this can be HARD). The donuts themselves are some of the best around. They have the standard classics, but they also play around and invent their own items. I donāt eat meat, but my husband had a spiritual experience eating a hot dog croissant theyād whipped up!! Their quality is always reliable; Iāve been going here for several years and itās always just as good. Their also make a truly exceptional house iced coffee, if you like yours creamy and sweet. It is INCREDIBLE. They usually have at least one new item, food or drink, each time I go in, yet somehow they still have all the regular things I stop in for! If youāre unsure what to get, let me recommend a few things: the chocolate bars, maple bars (just the right amount of maple, and Iām picky!), cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, crumb donuts (I like fried best but the cakes are great too!), the old fashioneds are full of the most delectable books and crannies of dough, the crullers melt in your mouth, and donāt forget some donut holes for the pup! :) (Please only give occasionally as a treat and only if your vet gives the ok!) One thing I really appreciate is that they always have at least a few donuts (like the old fashioneds and fritters) that donāt have any glaze on them. Donāt get me wrong, obviously I love my sweets, but sometimes my stomach gets a little upset with too much sugar too early in the day. There is a small credit card fee, but Iāll happily pay a few more cents for the convenience! I love this shop and the people who run it!! I consider it my civic duty to visit as often as possible and help keep them in business during these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been to this business around 5 times and itās clear to me now that itās not one worth visiting. The donuts are decent but not delicious. Twice I have been fortunate enough to interact with two kind employees. However, the three other times, I have had to interact with the older woman who may be the owner. Each time she has been very rude during our interactions. Itās such a quick exchange so it surprises me how unwelcome she has made me feel each visit. And Iām someone who expects very little from employees at these type of businesses.
At the end of the day, they put donuts of different types on the same tray. It can be difficult to see the ones at the back of the tray because of the poor lighting inside the cabinets. Today, I asked if the donut I picked out from the back was the only one of its kind they had. Instead of just saying they didnāt have any more, she stopped, placed her hands on her hips and glared at me directly before confirming no others were left.
Itās clear that I am not the type of customer she wants, so I will no longer be visiting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in the area and I was craving a donut. I found this donut place very close by and decided to give it a try. And I definitely don't regret it. The costumer service was great and friendly. You can tell it's family owned and operated. They are a USC family as you can tell by the decor on the inside. I went around 10:30am and there wasn't much of a selection and the young man at the counter apologized for it, he sad they were very busy today. I didn't mind the little selection. I got a orange glazed cake donut, cinnamon roll w/ glaze and raisins, and a custard filled chocolate glazed donut. All of them were very yummy and fresh. The cinnamon roll especially just melted in my mouth. I highly recommend...
