Food is good, we have not had any more issues with rocks or pebbles in the beans. We decided to give them another chance and they have not let us down.
Prior 1 star review Want a cracked tooth? We’ve been going here for years. We come at least twice a week, sometimes five times a week. Unfortunately we have had a rock show up in the refried beans two times over the past five days. On the first occurrence we told the waitress and she commented that she had a rock in her refried beans earlier that day. We told her that it was dangerous and could cause a fracture or a chip on someone’s teeth. Today, we had a reoccurrence. I asked to speak to the owner who is also the cook, but he never came and talk to us. When I went to pay I told the cashier/manager about the issue and asked her if they had insurance in case somebody hurts themselves biting into a pebble in the food. She said they did. I said that since they do not clean the beans, somebody is liable to get hurt. I told her we would not be coming back. If you eat there, eat the refried beans at your own risk. I don’t think they are taking it...
Read moreI’ve given this place several chances and have been disappointed every time. The amount of time we have to wait on mediocre service is ridiculous. You ask the waitresses for something and still have to go up to the front counter and ask again, or just get it for yourself. Then, the waitresses give you a very condescending look, like you’re the one in the wrong. I ordered pancakes — you think it’d be common sense to bring that along when you serve it. Having to ask for chips and salsa more than once is very telling of how the service will be. The food is either bland or too salty, I could go on. Not to mention that every time I’ve been in there, there’s a man that sits in one of the corner booths, drinking beer after beer, ogling all the women and being a creep - but he seems to getting good service out of the ladies. Do yourself a favor and skip this place, go to Campo Azul and get some delicious food with incredible service, where you may have to wait but is...
