Very disappointed today. Been ordering breakfast for over a year. Today I ordered my regular veggie omelette, one slice of cheese, wheat toast no butter and side of links. Today I opted to add the 5 omelette and added crispy bacon, totaling $24.36. Paid and rounded up as usual to $30.00. Arrived home and realized the pancakes were missing so called to see if it was left from the bag accidentally, the individual that answered the phone, and sounded like the one that took the order and gave the amt due.. informed of the issue and was told that I did not purchase the item, but would give it as gratis. I said no, but checked the total of items received against the menu which totaled $15.00. I was appalled that not only did I purchase and provided tip that he lied stating I was not charged for the item, a blatant lie. I understand mistakes, but to not accept a mistake have lost you a long time customer. Anyone can make good, but supporting home local businesses is why most if not...
Read moreAlright, let me lay it out for you, folks – my experience at the Paulsboro Diner was a bit of a mixed bag. Now, I'll give credit where it's due; the people I interacted with were real nice, and the service was friendly. No complaints on that front.
But here's the deal, the food, well, it was just okay. Nothing to write home about, and I've had better in my day. That's not the kicker, though. The strange part about this place is the vibe. You know that feeling you get when something just isn't right? Yeah, that's what I got at the Paulsboro Diner.
It's hard to put a finger on it, but it's like there's an odd atmosphere hanging around, and it left me feeling a little uneasy. So, I'd say if you're really craving a meal and friendly service, it's worth a visit. But that vibe, it's a mystery I can't quite figure out. Two stars, because it's not terrible, but it's far from...
Read moreFirst time visit. Been in the area just over a year and have tried many diners in the local area. I have to say that this diner was spot on for service and taste. Their hours make it difficult to have dinner, which has been most of reason for taking so long to get by. They are convenient to our home in Mount Royal. The French toast, pancakes, bacon, and eggs were fresh and fluffy showing care of quality in their food. The home fries looked delicious the moment they hit the table and the first thing my daughter finished with her omelet. If I have any words of encouragement, it would be that the diner needs a fresh coat of paint and a little more care in keeping up its appearance. Other than that, I fully expect to be back for another weekend brunch after a hard...
