Fantastic!! Deborah was so communicative about her baked goods and expertly modified her recipes to fit my family's taste (less sugar in everything, oatmeal added to chocolate chip cookies). She also made Easter bread for us by special request. I picked up from her home and everything was freshly ready when I arrived and packed for easy transport. I am an experienced baker and on family vacation I sought freshly home-baked goods instead of store-bought sweets that often are too sweet and don't have a fresh flavor. In October I had been looking for a bakery that made Chocolate Cream Pie. It was for my granddaughter's birthday and is her favorite. I used to get them from the Marie Callender restaurant. I contacted several places without locating Chocolate Cream Pie. I saw a frozen one but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for.I called Pine Tree Bakery. I have been getting my mother’s birthday cake here for several years. It’s the best cake. It’s the only cake my mother wants every year. She turned 89 this year and is in failing health.
