Alicia's Su Cocina — Restaurant in Peñitas

I’m very disappointed! My parents have years going to Alicia’s and never had we experienced any type of problems. Today we stopped by at 4:11pm to place an order to go with Imaltzin (the cashier) she repeated my order twice told me it would be a 15min wait so I went to wait outside I then came back to see if my order was almost ready she said yes but she would go check she then came back with my order which I didn’t check before leaving because like I said never had we had any issues. We got home (it’s a 30min drive) turns out I was missing items I called I was being polite and the cashier jst said she forgot and hanged up I called again asking for the manager she said he wasn’t in and she said what was the issue I explained again what I was missing and she jst said I could go back for one compliment and hanged up after I told her no I wasn’t doing that drive for 1compliment I want the items I paid for I’m not asking for extras or a handout! I called a 3rd time she said the cook put everything in my bag to go and that the manager said he would give me a call back right away which I didn’t get! (LA JOYA LOCATION) I ordered Flautas, Tacos de Fajita with avacado and cheese ( matamoros) and Fajita Burrito. The Flautas were so hard as if they had been refried 100 TIMES. The little bit of chicken they had in the pencil thin flautas was very burnt, and had no flavor. They charge me 10.00 dollars plus tax for them. The Fajitas in the Fajita tacos were burnt to a crisp! The avacado they charged extra for was brown and tasted spoiled. That plate was 15.00 dollars plus tax. The Fajita burrito had very little Fajita and it as well was so burnt you couldn't chew it. That plate was 13.00 dollars plus tax. They charge for ice in your drink as well. I only tried them because the name of the restaurant was one I tried in Pharr. However, the standards of food and the over exaggerated prices for inedible food was not the same. I will NEVER go back and I recommend NO ONE WASTE THEIR MONEY THERE. FOOD...

I give it ONE STAR BECAUSE I CAN’T GO TO ZERO STARS. VERY BAD SERVICE.. WAITRESS GIRL VERY RUDE, NO WONDER THEY’RE ASKING FOR NEW STAFF. WORS RESTAURANT SERVICE EVER.. AND MY BREAKFAST, THE WORST TOO.. FLOUR TORTILLAS TASTED LIKE IF THEY WERE JUST STANDING THERE FOR A DAY ALREADY.. THEN ASKED FOR CORN TORTILLAS AND THEY WERE COOOOOLD. Always wondered how this restaurant was and always wanted to stop by.. NOW I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT NEVER WILL I COME BACK HERE. PRIMARILY FOR THE REALLY BAAAAAAD SERVICE AND THEN BECAUSE OF THE UGLY FOOD THEY SERVE.
