This place exceeded my expectations! Went here this past weekend for an early Father's Day lunch for my dad. He had heard from coworkers that this place had the best steak tips, so we had to check them out. We parked in the lot and the place was packed! You can tell it's a local joint. Every seat was taken. It's a casual bar where you can enjoy some beers and play keno. Love it! We didn't wait long and then were seated at a booth. We ordered Buffalo wings as an app and got the steak tip plate each as a meal. It came with a salad and a side. The salad was simple yet satisfying with iceberg lettuce and a creamy Italian dressing, and for my side, I went with the onion rings. I took my first bite of the steak tips, and they literally blew my mind! Absolutely delicious 10/10. Slight char on the outside with a beautiful marinade, and the inside was tender! No words! Steak tips can be such a hit or miss, but this place truly nailed it. Will definitely be back!! Great find!

the worst service in #massachusetts they're supposed to have the best steak tips around. Unfortunately their service was so bad my family and I that drove over 45 minutes to get out there didn't even get a chance to taste them. from the moment we walked in we weren't greeted. We had to seat ourselves. We ordered our drinks and a mac & cheese bite as an appetizer and waited. 30 minutes until I had to stop one of the servers to ask if we could put our order in I was immediately given an attitude that she tried to cover up with the fake smile and high pitch in her voice after ordering we then sat for over an hour mind you I only ordered a steak Tip sub medium and a BLT that's it after the hour went by of being ignored and watching people that walked in after me, get their food I stood up and noticed that the three parties that came in after us had already had their steak tips in front of them and and decided to go ahead and leave a $20 bill on the table for the gross kraft macaroni and cheese bites that they gave us and the three sprites that were flat. This place is a joke. If you plan to get anything other than steak tips, go to a different bar. The place was very busy on a weekend evening and we waited about 15 minutes to get seated. I ordered the steak tips with rice pilaf and salad. The salad was simple, mostly lettuce, and small. But once I got the steak tips, I was doing a happy dance. They give you lots of steak tips, easily 4 portions. In cases like this, I would almost recommend half the portion for half the price or bring a few friends and split the dish. My partner had a sausage sub and this is where the 3 star review comes in. The sub was literally just a grilled sausage, nothing else. I figured this must be because the sausage stands on it's own but upon taking a bite I was woefully unimpressed. Similarly the fries were simple and unseasoned. Overall, stick to the steak tips or bring your own spices.

Finally made it to Champions Pub, Peabody . Believe everything you've ever heard about these tips that is good. Tender. Perfectly cooked medium rare. You get a huge amount ! Great Quality. Holy Smokes Batman. It's Like 2 pounds of Beef! My son got a grilled chicken sandwich. He said it was very good. Good enough that I brought one home for the Mr. No way I was eating anything else today or cooking. Brought 2 huge tips home. Plus onion rings. Very good onion rings. Well, I live 6 minutes away and have clearly been slacking. As someone who has grown up here, I’m pretty critical of my steak tips. These are BOMB. I got the pilaf and did onion vidalia dressing with the salad. Pilaf was cooked perfectly and that pre-made house salad we are all familiar with was clearly freshly chopped, not sitting in the fridge since morning. Very very casual atmosphere. Quick, down to the point service. No complaints though - exactly the vibe I expect from a great hole in the wall dive bar with great brews and delicious food.
