China One — Restaurant in Pee Pee Township

I was visiting some family a few days ago on Monday (the 8th of February) that live near Lake White and I decided to take my girlfriend, my little sister, and my mother to this place for a late afternoon meal. I love Chinese buffets and takeaways. As someone that loves Chinese food, and has also ordered from numerous Chinese restaurants around Ohio and also overseas whilst living in England and Cornwall, I must say that this place is absolutely disgusting and rates the lowest of any Chinese place I've ever eaten. All of the chicken and beef dishes on the buffet were overcooked and/or had ostensibly been sitting there for hours before we arrived. Nothing seemed seasoned properly and I couldn't enjoy anything I tired. Even the fried rice was hard and tasteless. During the hour we spent at our table, only one item on the buffet was replaced. This place obviously doesn't understand that you can't cook these items and leave them sit out for hours and expect to produce quality. It's a buffet, I obviously didn't expect the food cooked to order but much of the quality, if there was some to be had, is lost with their process and the place is just ridiculous. The food was utterly abysmal and nowhere near worth the almost $40 they took us for. Also, the men's restroom was in horrible condition. It looks as if it had not been cleaned for quite some time. My girlfriend and her Mom used to come here with family and it was lovely, but this place has deciiitely gone down hill.

We went today, and the server who we had was lovely, but the food did not really look edible for the most part. Whatever you do, don’t eat the fish because it all smells fishy and stuff looks like it’s been out for days.

We had the egg drop soup, lo Mein, and different chickens and it was all super oily and had a funky taste.

The kicker is that none of the staff eat what is on the bar. They will take plates from the back and come out with stuff that wasn’t even being served on the bar. Completely different dishes.

My girlfriend ate the sweet and sour chicken because the nuggets were inedible and rubbery. While eating the sweet and sour chicken my gf bit into it and there was weird black stuff inside the chicken. Could have been a vein but it didn’t look good.

Purchase the Buffet specifically for the General tso chicken, found the chicken to be or looking unappealing. The sauce was strange, looking and runnier and more of a dark brown color instead of the , usual red coloring., very few pieces of chicken in the sauce Buffet was not very clean on the outside, limited selections or limited amounts. Also, the fried wonton was extremely hard on the outside and tasteless on the inside, which is one of the reasons I do get Chinese is for the fried wonton. Do you also get a choice of a soup or sauce container which you may not actually stress put anything else but soup or sauce however, other places I’ve been on the second container since you’re paying for it you can get whatever you want so I found this a little odd definitely would not be going back again.
