Coosa Cafe & Creamery — Restaurant in Pell City

I took my two daughters here after the park. I thought we'd get a sweet lil treat on our way home 3 cups of Ice cream should never cost $25 that just insane. And the coffee flavor was literally gelatinous. Like it had been melted and refrozen or just bad it also had chunky stuff in it. But labeled "coffee" I tried to force myself to eat it because it was so damn expensive but it was so gross I just couldn't. I have been eating coffee ice cream for decades and never had one be this way. The window lighting is very overwhelming if you are the one facing it. The frosted glass isn't helping shades or something might but it's so blinding when you're at the table facing it. I wanted to love this place. Sad it was so expensive for such a horrible experience. Food was delicious, ice cream selections were plenty. But, this cafe is WAY TOO $$$$ for being next door to a laundromat. Decaf coffee was very good which is hard to find. The avocado toast would have been good if the egg, prefab like you get at a hotel, had been hot. Service was biggest complaint. We didn’t get our coffee, just regular coffee, until well after we got our food. When I went to the counter, they apologized saying the girl behind the counter was very busy and she was while two other workers visited with a customer. Bit pricey for the service received...
