My son and I love Jamaican cuisine, so we stopped in for lunch. It's not overly expensive but we purchased the Curry goat, Oxtails, Jerk chicken plates, beef patty and rum cake. Overall, the flavor was fantastic and it penetrated the meat. The beef patty was good and the rum cake was nice and moist and flavorful. The peas and rice were cooked to perfection, the cabbage was different than what we were accustomed too but still tender and flavorful (more in them than we are used to seeing and tasting, not necessarily a bad thing). Our only issue was, the meals were missing that traditional Jamaican spiciness (which is why I give it a 3 star), but I do understand they are making it for the general public. Which means it can't be quite as traditional as it should (in my opinion) and every one has their own spin and flare that separates them. Read moreI had such a great experience at this Jamaican restaurant! I ordered the curry chicken, jerk chicken, and patties, and everything was absolutely authentic and full of flavor. The food tasted just like real Jamaican home cooking seasoned perfectly, and made with care.
What really stood out was the staff. I asked if they could make the hot sauce even hotter, and one of the staff actually went in the back and specially prepared it for me. I could see him washing each chili before adding it, and he even removed all the seeds to give me the perfect level of heat. That kind of attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond really made the meal unforgettable. The best tasting ingredients for the most authentic and delicious meals. They got the best oxtail, don’t sleep.

Lol I guess I could have ordered something different other than the curry goat but I found it to be fatty and not that much meat and definitely wasn't expecting bones. The red beans and rice where undercooked and I had to wait 20 to 25 minutes for a single plate of food. maybe that's just the way they eat the food in Jamaica and I'm missing out or something but I wasn't impressed at all for almost $20. They were super nice and helpful and maybe it was just a bad day I may try it again and order something more popular like the oxtail. All of it was homemade and the fried cabbage was...
