I rarely leave a bad review, even if a place deserves it, Casey's, or otherwise. I live in Pella, IA. 9 out of 10 times, I use the one on Main. Jen runs a tight ship and I appreciate everyone that works there. We moved, so now I'm closer to the one on Clark Street. I decided to use some Casey's rewards tonight and order a taco pizza. The pizza was less than desirable. The slices were not cut thoroughly. It looked like there were only 8 slices. I realized that when was half way thru eating the first slice, there were two slices. I examined the pizza again, and the majority of the pizza slices were like this. The lettuce was big, chunky & a bit wilty. Surprisingly, there were plenty of tomatoes & more chips than usual. Both of those ingredients are usually lacking. I ordered extra chips one time (not the store on Clark) and it did not look like there were any extra chips. Most of the time I have to buy a bag of chips to make up for what the pizza lacks. The overall taste just wasn't the Casey's pizza that I've grown to love. Maybe times have changed. Maybe it's impossible to find good help these days. I know when I worked for you back in the mid 2000s, our manager wouldn't have allowed this kind of service. We'd had the best kitchen workers who made some of the best pizza around. I've included 2 pictures. One of the overall look of the pizza. The other picture is to show how the pizza was not cut thru the crust. It was like this in 3 places. We had a total of 10 slices after I pulled them apart.

Small truck parking (10 spots). Great for taking a break. Parking lot is dirty and muddy. Bathrooms are clean. Has a small eatery.

I DO NOT Understand WHY EVERY TIME I get a package of Cookies ( The 3 - pack ,Chocolate Chunk Cookies) THEY ARE UNDERDONE ,AND NOT COOKED COMPLETELY! PEOPLE, REALLY ???! You could make someone Sick,by selling underdone food - OF ANY KIND. I HAVE NOTICED THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE ,WITH ALMOST EVERY CASEYS that I've been to. To purchase food..UNDERDONE PIZZA,that is LIMP WITH GREASE FROM TOO MANY PEPPERONI SLICES. ( 4 IS ENOUGH ,REALISTICALLY) and NOT DONE ON THE BOOTOM CRUST . It's WHY I PREFER CHEESE ONLY ,WHICH THERE'S HARDLY EVER ANY " JUST CHEESE " PUZZA ! ALSO ....UNDERCOOKED COOKIES OF ALL KINDS. ( The Cookies are THIN AND UNDERCOOKED...DEFINITELY NOT the type of Cookie I have bought in recent months.). CONS8DERING that many individuals WILL EAT FOOD ITEMS " on the Road", or even at a Park or somewhere...FOOD NEEDS TO BE COOKED ,because they're not taking it home...., only to discover that IT NEEDS MORE COOKING TIME TO BE EDIBLE! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE...It's not practicing Due Diligence, on top of expecting Employees to rush ,on cooking...

I rarely go in the store, I just need fuel for my car. Most times I stop here out of convenience ( on the highway exit towards home ) but getting what I need is usually more complicated than it should be. Half of the pumps run at little more than 1 GPM so you end up standing there far longer than reasonable. Sometimes I have to wait for this disappointment because the cars get backed up, same cause. Today was the real surprise though; the button for ethanol blend gas was removed from the pump that I started to use. I cancelled the transaction and moved to another - same deal. Looking around, all the pumps had the button removed for ethanol blend. Did the store run out? I paid extra for disappointment this time but never again. I'm filling at Two Rivers from now on, I might save some time when it's...
