We were excited to try out the restaurant, but were sadly disappointed. Although the server was nice, we had to seat ourselves, get our own menus and drinks. The dining area was clean, but the atmosphere was cold and sterile, like a school cafeteria. The only ambient noise in the cafe was the loud soda machine and other guests' conversations.
We tried to order the burger, but they were out of buns and burger meat. The menu boasts home made, but the chicken nuggets were bland and tasted like frozen patties. Although they were breaded, there was absolutely no trace of seasoning. The turkey bagel sandwich had only one and a half slices of turkey and the bagel was so hard that it couldn't be bitten into. The fries were just OK and also pretty bland tasting.
The menu was way overpriced for the amount and quality of food received. For that price, I would expect to eat on proper plates, nice napkins and glass drink ware, instead of metal baskets with paper liner, flimsy napkins, and paper cups.
Although we both ate something different from the menu, we both felt ill almost immediately after eating. We definitely will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually try to find something positive to say on my reviews but this is tough. The place was nice as far as the redecor they noted had been done recently. The light blue with white accents was fresh and appealing, but the tables were not very clean. They had one person seating, cleaning, taking orders, and checking customers out. She was pleasant enough, but generally in no hurry to accommodate anyone and never checked on us aside from taking our order. Had to actually walk up to the counter to ask for ketchup. Coffee was nasty and I assure you we are not picky about our coffee. Pop tasted funny - couldn't place why. Food was mediocre at best, and the menu didn't have a number of the things that are pictured so beautifully on the website - including omelets. At one point the server even started turning people away when they came in. Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped in with a longtime friend while my car was in the shop, and Iām so glad we finally made it in. Iāve known Brent for years but this was my first time visiting, and now I see why everyone raves about this place! The food was incredibleāmy eggs, bacon, and hash browns were cooked perfectly. I couldnāt resist grabbing a pecan cinnamon roll to go since I was too full to eat it there. Even a few hours later, it was still amazingāyou can tell itās made fresh in-house.
My friend had the biscuits and gravy and said they were the best ever. Joe was so friendly and knowledgeable, and he shared that the biscuits and gravy are homemade right there. It really shows.
Great food, great people, and such a welcoming spot. Brent and the whole team has built something special here. Canāt wait to come back to see as the place grows...
