Subway — Restaurant in Pembroke Park

Terrible service, won’t be coming back. We came to this Subway tonight around 8:45 PM with my family. The hours on the door and online said they close at 10 PM, so we figured we were good. A woman was cleaning the floor, saw us, and came to unlock the door—but from the moment we walked in, she made us feel like we weren’t welcome. Gave us a bad look, clearly annoyed we had come in.

We ordered anyway, and one of our combos came with a fountain drink. Instead of letting us use the machine (which was right there), she said: “You’ll have to take a bottle from the fridge, I already cleaned and closed that. I’m closing soon.” Mind you, it wasn’t even 9 yet.

We paid and sat down to eat. The moment she saw us sit, she immediately said, “Oh, but I close at 9,” basically telling us we couldn’t stay and eat. We pointed out that the hours say 10, and she just shrugged and said, “Yeah, it’s not updated, we close at 9.”

It was literally 8:57. She just didn’t want to wait 10 minutes while we ate. This is the second time this has happened to us at a Subway, and we’re officially done. The staff clearly doesn’t care, they lie about the hours, and they make you feel like a burden instead of a customer.

If you want decent service, go somewhere else. Not worth...

This is the worst subway I writing this at 9:09 pm on a Friday. I came here on my break and the worker had the lights off to come outside with his friends. He say he took it among himself to close early because he wasn’t getting customers, but he’s getting paid on the clock sad to say. He did know I understand Arab and his friends was laughing say F-him. Someone like this guy should even be in a subway chain let along any chain stealing company time. Terrible. I wanted the breakfast bacon/ham-egg-cheese sandwich and asked to substitute salami for the meat. I find Subway ham to be too full of stringy fat marbling and the bacon is undercooked, so I prefer another meat.
