The Good:

The chair in general is very comfortable. My wife wanted something that was a gaming chair and that the pillow (lumbar pillow) that could be moved up and down the chair and this system worked well. The upholstery is well-stitched and looks exactly like what we expected.

The Bad:

Overall, for $300, I expected the chair to be more... sturdy. The armrests seem to be loose in the swivel points. Sliding them backwards and forwards is difficult. Reclining the chair is very jerky, with there seeming to be rather large gaps in the inclination. I’d like it to feel smoother in that sense.

What’s missing: There is no ability to lock the tilt of the seat. I’d like there to be an additional lever allowing for the entire chair to change in pitch.

We have one other gaming chair in our household, Secret Labs Omega v2, and to be honest, it’s a better chair. The chair just feels more sturdy. With the price difference being almost the same, I’d move towards their brand.

Finally, upon delivery, we did have to sign for the chair because there needed to be someone above the age of 21 in the household.... luckily my wife and I are old enough, but it was a hassle that we had to stay home and wait for delivery for a product that had no reason to be signed for.

Would I buy this chair again, maybe, Depending on how the company continues to evolve and listen to...

I ordered the Techni Kawaii gaming chair for my daughter for Christmas and it made it the best Christmas ever for her. First I want to give huge kudos to the Customer Service Specialist, Amanda Levine who went above and beyond. I had ordered the heart lumbar pillow with the chair not realizing that one already came with the chair. Amanda reached out within hours to let me know this and asked if I wanted a credit for the second pillow. In a time where many companies want to cash grab, the Techni team really went out of their way to look after the consumer. After thinking on it I decided to keep the second one for myself. We opened the package this morning also to find an adorable plush Techni unicorn in with the chair. I really can’t tell you how much that elevated the excitement level for my daughter and made her Christmas extra special. The chair is gorgeous and sturdy and easy to put together. We are a family of gamers and will be buying myself a chair in the coming new year and I will continue to give my business to Techni.
