O. M. G.---I cannot believe that I'd actually Forgotten JUST HOW 'SCRUMPDALLIAMPTIOUS...' --'Amici's Ristorante', Is!!
As a matter of fact, upon my arrival w/my 2 Precious Boys who surprised me this Evening for my Young 49th Bday Dinner, --I'd already forgotten that I'd even been there close to 3 years ago prior to having moved just 2&1/2 Miles down Taft Street!!
Now, as if that weren't enough -the incredibly awesome Waitress we had, -didn't even show a single Ounce of Fear considering we were told afterwards about just how New she'd been!!
So to close, KEEP IT UP in what I truly believe is Not only your Full and Entire Ambiance of Amici's Place, and in every sense of it's meaning and Legacy, --BUT I even noticed the little things such as the Temperature upon entering and while there! I've been a Fibromyalgia Sufferer now for close to 20 years but learned how deal and live with it;) So nevertheless -wherever I go, I would prefer to bring any kind of Sweater with me just to be safe and after about 1/2 hour of my 2 Boys' and I talkin' and laughin', was when I realized just how Cozy it was in there-- And that Included the beauty of the Low-key from even the Italian Music itself!!
Now--, if I had to be literally forced to pick the Single 1 thing in order to 'Improve...', on it in this Bomb Family Place to come and Enjoy some Delicious and Authentic Italian Food from more often, I think it would have to be the fact that it wasn't til I was about to be Served my actual main Meal when I realized I had no spoon, which in my eyes has always been known to be part of the 'Correct Way..', of placing your Silverware.
Okie-dokie..., Well--enough from Me and my fingers;) I've def done my part in my 2 hands today, but this time I do indeed hope to be back sooner than later! And best of Wishes to such an Amazing...
Read moreI found Amici's when looking for an Italian restaurant with good reviews. I'm glad to say they were right because everything I've ever had there has been very good, however if something is not good they will very kindly replace it or remove it from the check. My daughter's chicken was a bit rubbery and they took it off the bill. I usually get the chicken parmigiana or francaise and both are excellent. Their soup (pasta fagioli ? Spelling), salad and garlic rolls are also delicious. The best part is that they're very reasonable priced and the portions are big. The last time I was there it was with 12 people and was the first time my sisters and parents were meeting my grandson who was born on Christmas day!! My mom hasn't been well recently and to make a long story short she got sick after we left. We had sat around outside chatting and taking pictures before she felt bad and the restaurant had already closed. Two very nice employees (including our waitress) saw us outside and came to ask if we were ok, they brought her a glass of water. The young man was a paramedic in training and helped get my mother in the car. These two people went above and beyond our expectations and this only makes my overall impression that much better. I hope they stay just as they are, a small place with affordable prices, scrumptious food and quality customer service. Good...
Read moreWe loved Amici’s, it was reasonably priced and had a calming atmosphere in addition to being delicious. It is located next to a Publix in a shopping center, parking was easy.
We ordered the bruschetta to begin, once we ran out of the bread it came with I ate the marinated tomatoes by themselves they were so delicious. I ordered the chicken siciliano, it was a combination of chicken Parmesan and eggplant Parmesan with a side of spaghetti pasta and red sauce. It was quite rich and flavorful and I had plenty for leftovers. The spaghetti was a simple spaghetti, nothing fantastical but delicious.
My friend ordered the chicken fettuccini Alfredo, I had a bite of it and it was very tasty and I thought perhaps I picked up on some goat cheese potentially. It had a more complex flavor profile than just cream and cheese. Again, the dish was rich and she had a fair bit of leftovers.
For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake slice and two mini cannolis, both were tasty. The chocolate cake was very rich and chocolatey and the cannolis were crunchy, sweet, and creamy.
Our server was super sweet and attentive, we had a view of the pizza oven and the overhead lighting was dim which we appreciated after our long day. I could see this being a great little date spot. Amici’s had yummy Italian food for a reasonable price, both of us agreed we...
