China Eight — Restaurant in Pembroke

I moved to this area six months ago and people around here keep telling me how good food is at this restaurant in that restaurant and so forth and so on. Every single one is a flop, including this one. I don’t know why, but in the south Chinese food is terrible and I know they only making it like that because you people keep eating it. I got chicken lo mein and I got yellow noodles with a bunch of onions and little pieces of chicken none of it was flavored at all. I could’ve easily made that myself at home. Super friendly staff, delicious food, quick service. I work near here and they always have my food ready quickly. If you order a "lunch special" it has smaller portions (and a smaller price tag!) Than if you order a regular plate. One of my favorite spots and my go-to spot on my lunch breaks. Family owned and the people who work there are great.
