Bojangles — Restaurant in Pembroke

I’ve never been to this location in person so take this review with a grain of salt. I ordered from this location off of DoorDash tonight. I’ve only had Bojangles once before and it was pretty good, so I figured I’d try it again. I decided to just order food because I was tired and didn’t feel like making anything. From the time of me placing my order to having it in hand was about 10 minutes, which I was impressed with. I figured if it was made and picked up so quickly it’d be hot or at least warm. It was not. I ordered the chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and bacon. I also ordered a side of Mac and cheese and a side of mashed potatoes. They were out of mac and cheese so they gave me extra mashed potatoes (which is fine). The sandwich tasted stale and the chicken was dry. There was hardly any cheese, bacon, or tomato on there and no lettuce. They gave me a container full of mashed potatoes and I was under the impression that the gravy came on top. They gave me the gravy in another container filled to the brim. I looked and they didn’t give me any utensils for my food and there was no straw. The only reason I ate it was because I spent $20+ and didn’t want to waste it. I don’t know if it was just an off night since this is the first time I’ve ordered from here and I have nothing to compare it to, but I wasn’t impressed and feel like I wasted $20. Morning of 05/04/18 the female manager on duty was a complete "B" for no reason she was rude and nasty . I pulled up to the drive thru waited for her snobby self to take my order and had to wait forever to even order then I get to the window she rang it up wrong I told her I wanted a large and she was like "then I would have to void it out and do it all over again" mind you I'm the only customer at the business she tried to force my money back to me instead of ringing up a large and I was like so your telling me I can't pay for a large ? And then she rolled her eyes and snapped at me and said I'll just give it to you slammed my money in my hand and walked away while I was trying to asked her if she was ok because obviously she was upset. I get inside to address the issue and she cuts me off says I'm having to do ten things at once this morning and starts to walk away. The employee had to apologise for her managers attitude. I did nothing to deserve that . I woke up went to get breakfast before my final exam and her attitude started as soon as she tried to take my order without me even speaking. This location now charges $0.42 for a packet of sauce. That has to be the dumbest excuse I have ever heard. I went to this location for years when I went to UNC-Pembroke and on the occasional visits back here. NEVER, not once did they charge me for a packet of sauce. The Bojangles in Raleigh, Durham, and other locations DO NOT do that. Why here? Because of stealing? Excuse. Learn to live with it, then.

The employee at the cash register was also snippy with me about it when I genuinely asked why the change.

Anybody reading this, DO NOT COME HERE to this location. I will not support a company that charges extra for sauce, even if I'm a huge fan Boiangles. So good job, Pembroke Bojangles. You lost a...
