My wife and I went here for the first time. Right from the start we were greeted with a warm welcome and took a table in the bar area. The place was full but not crowded. Good music playing! My wife asked about one of the wines. The bartender offered to give her a taste, which was nice. We ordered drinks and shrimp cocktail. The bartender was kind enough to note that it was five shrimp, not the six it said on the menu because they are jumbo. She knew to tell us that! The order came out quickly and the shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked. For our main course we ordered to share one of the custom burgers and the scallops. The burger was cooked perfectly to order and the scallops were amazing. We've paid far more at big city restaurants that were supposed to be the next hot spot and been disappointed. Party of 4 for lunch. We started with some Onion rings which were nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned & French onion soup, so rich and tasty. Steak tips with mashed & asparagus,. Large portions of tip &bthe were cooked to perfection. Baked haddock with tri-fries & slaw. Very tasty, also cooked perfectly. Fish tacos were presented so beautifully & they took, were cooked to perfection & lastly I had the Mediterranean salad with a side of steak tips. It was so tasty, dressing was homemade & delicious & the tips were cooked perfectly. Our server was so nice, attentive & there if we needed her. First thing, new menu new prices. Menu was more limited. The new chef does know what they are doing, be prepared to wait 2 hours for your dinner to arrive. Second, if you enjoy being ignored and getting a attitude then getting yelled at, then Jamie is your gal! We were a table of 7, we had Short ribs, Ruben sandwich with parmesan fries, BBQ burger and Chicken Picatta. As great as the food was, was not worth the wait, we arrived for reservations at 6:30, we received our dinners at 8:15 pm. Our waitress Jamie was not available and not helpful, so we will not be available to go back. Shame that the over all experience was ruined by one person's attitude.
