Pirollo's Delicatessen — Restaurant in Penn Hills

Didn’t get a chance to order. Woman working there walked in as I was on FaceTime with my family waiting to order. As she walked in she asked me if I had an order placed already. I did not hear her at first because I was talking and looking at the products they had put on shelves. After I heard what she asked I said no I did not already place an order. She then tells me well you can hang up, I can take your order and then you can step outside. I say excuse me. She says I can’t take your order until you hang up as she has hand motions and tells me it’s too much noise for her. I tell her the people on the phone is who I am here for and they have never had your food so I wanted to tell them the menu. As I start to walk to the counter to look at menu taped to the counter she walks away to the back. I walked out. I will not spend my money at any establishment that provides that type of customer services. Mind you, there is no one else in the store but me and I was in there for less than 2 minutes. And there are No signs that say you CANNOT use your phone...

Good hoagies but I moved close to this shop little over yr ago and the 2 times I stop I'm disappointed. First time my turkey hoagie didn't have the bacon I added and paid for. This time I stop by at 4:23 they close at 5 and I can only order a italian hoagie cause they put away everything else 45m before they close. No thank you. The sandwiches here are so fresh and delicious! It’s a family owned business and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The only con about this place is the hours.. they’re not open very early and I’ve only ever been there once because it seems like every time I try, they’re closed!
