Arby's — Restaurant in Penn Township

Tonight, Sunday June 2 2019 at 7:15 pm was the third time since this Arby’s opened that we have visited! First two visits the person at the register was unable to place our order without assistance. We had to remind them that we ordered milkshakes with our meals! The place has been dirty each time, dirty floor, dirty tables! Tonight was the absolute worst!!! We entered Arby’s only to be greeted by 5 or 6 employees talking loudly and didn’t appear they were doing “anything” else! Our order was taken, we waited 20 minutes, I finally walked over to the table across from the soda machine and stood there so they could see me! NO response, I walked back to our table again, once again back over so they would see me! Meanwhile there was a gentleman waiting for his order outside the door, I could tell he was getting a bit upset with the wait as well! Then, the one girl finally came out mumbling something and grabbed a bag of sweet potato fries from the freezer. She put them in the fryer, I asked if our meals were ready she told me they were just getting them I should come up to the register! I walked up to the register and said,”I’m not sure what the problem is but we have been waiting and your just starting to get it together, there has been nobody else in this establishment the whole time we have been here except a fella at the drive thru, you may as well just refund our money and we will go elsewhere” her response, “ well we were very busy before u came and we are trying to get more food made because we were out, so we are getting it for you now but i will give you your money back too”...so I got our refund, told my husband what was said and we walked out, never again! I have been to this arbys different times and the service is mediocre almost every time. I live in Lititz and this one is closer to me than running to Ephrata if I want to get arbys. Recently, I ordered a french dip sandwich. I was greeted by nakesha (which is what my receipt said) a person to which you could tell disliked her job and didn't want to be there, making me feel like I was an annoyance to her that she had to wait on me. Now granted, it appeared that only three employees were working, and they were busy with the drive-thru. It probably was not a fun time for the employees, but you still have to have a professional demeanor and at least pretend that you want to be at your job. So that was ordering. Then upon receiving my food I watch one girl prepare the french dip "au jus" which she had to due on the spot as it was not already made. When I got my french dip you could still see chunks of powder from the instant "au jus". I have gotten french dip before from other arbys and never have I ever seen it like this. The presentation was just gross and I just ended up throwing it out. I will not be going to this arbys anymore. I have gone time after time and am tired of the low service standard that is practiced there. Also, I don't know if they can't retain employees or what but it seems low-staffed all the time. I will now be always going to Ephrata where I have never had a bad experience. I do not recommend this arbys whatsoever. Worst experience ever at an Arby’s and considering this one is brand new we were highly disappointed. I usually get French dip and Swiss however I was with a coworker and we saw the 2 sandwiches, 2 fries and 2 drinks for $9.99 so we decided to split that. We both picked beef and cheddar. The food came out fast but it was disgusting. The fries tasted like they just made 100 pieces of fish in the same fryer bc they tasted like fish. The sandwich had hardly any beef and was overloaded with cheese and sauce to drip everywhere. The sandwich also had an odd flavor and undesirable. I should’ve taken pictures but I just threw it away. We both were annoyed we wasted money for nothing and could’ve just went to twin kiss like we did the day before. Monday we will be out that way again and I’ll be going to the pizza shop in the same parking lot as Arby’s. I don’t think I’ll go back but if I do I’ll update my review/stars. I usually leave 4 stars, 5 if it’s amazing or 3 if it could use some work. 1-2 stars for absolutely horrible food and or service and this was a 1 because the food...
