Co-workers had told me the food here was great, so I thought I'd give it a try. Let's just say that I'll not be trusting their food recommendations again. Ever. Based on my experience I have no idea how this establishment is pulling off a +4 1/2 star rating. After figuring out the poorly designed third-party website used by Divino for online ordering I ordered 3 items for delivery; jalapeno poppers, wings w/habanero sauce, and a cheese steak sub with fries. Delivery was prompt, much earlier than the expected time stated on the website, and the driver was friendly and polite. All good so far, then I got to the food. The jalapeno poppers were good at least, probably bought in already prepared. The rest, not so much. The wing sauce I ordered, listed on the menu as habanero, was actually mango habanero. Advertise hot, deliver sweet instead, nice. Even worse, I didn't know this until I threw away the container and saw it written on the back because I tasted nothing other than chicken. They either completely forgot to sauce the wings, or they put on so little that I tasted nothing in the way of sweet from the mango or heat from the habanero. Nothing at all. The photo below shows the container in which they were delivered, with only a tiny amount of discoloration in it mostly due to the mix of condensation, chicken fat, and cooking oil. The sauce they were supposed to put on the wings left virtually no evidence of its existence. The cheese steak sub is described on the menu as coming with "fried onions, mayo, American cheese and lettuce" with no option to actually add any of those, so that's how I expected it to be prepared. Yeah no. I got a paper thin layer of shredded meat with a few pieces of onion in it and maybe a tiny amount of cheese mixed in (still not sure about that, actually) on a dry, heavy, tasteless, hard and dense bread that I wouldn't even consider a sub roll at all. No mayo that I could find, and definitely no lettuce. It was bad, like bad enough that a Domino's cheese steak is way better. The fries accompanying the sub were bland, maybe they serve them salt free as their policy? A coarse finishing salt would have saved them, as it was they were better reheated in a toaster oven and salted the next day than they were when I got them. It's tough to overcome such a bad first impression but maybe I'll get adventurous and try the pizza one day but for everything else, Divino is not where I'll be going.

This is how you operate a successful food business everyone. You love what you do, you have fun, and share the experience with your customers. I first ordered Divino's last Valentines Day because they had heart shaped pizzas and now my family has had almost everything off the menu. Great breadsticks, great wings, great specialty pizzas, great fresh mozzarella pizzas, best italian sub I've ever had, great hot subs, perfectly cooked pasta, great strombolis, in house gelato, A 40 INCH PIZZA CHALLENGE that I tried and did not do as well as I thought I would. :) Great customer service, as in, real person to person service. Honest and welcoming person to person service. I did have one time that not all of my food was delivered. I had to wait till the delivery guy drove back there and back to my house for my food. Food was great and I tipped him no different because sometimes things happen. :) Lastly, I don't know about you, but I grew up eating spaghetti. We had it with buttered bread. You take the spaghetti, put it on the bread, spaghetti sandwich, best thing ever. So yesterday I went ahead and asked for a Spaghetti Sub. Jason said, "Sure, what do you have in mind?" I gave him some thoughts and asked that he make it however he thought would be good. They asked that I let them know how it was and so I wrote this review. Sub roll, garlic butter, spaghetti with some cut up meatballs, Parmesan on top, throw it in the oven, and now you're living your best life. They charged me a similar price for their hot subs and it was a 10/10. I could say much more than this. Everyone at Divino Pizzeria & Grille - You're winning.

I ordered a large pizza ("first half" pepperoni and "second half" cheese), crab pretzel, and 2 liter for my family at 12:02pm. The anticipated wait time was 60 - 65 minutes, which I understood. The food arrived at 1:16pm. Unfortunately the food was not worth the wait. The crab pretzel, as you can see on the picture, is UNDERcooked. The pretzel dough was completely raw/gooey on the inside. The entire pizza had pepperoni on it (not the biggest deal in the world but worth mentioning). The pizza dough was extremely thin with a over abundance of cheese. The bottom of the pizza was soggy (from sitting in grease I presume). That being said, when I called to explain the situation to them, the young woman on the phone immediately offered to remake and redeliver the crab pretzel as a way to rectify the problem. However, the replacement pretzel was delivered the same way!!!! I called the store back and asked for a manager but there was not a manager on shift today. The girl I spoke with was extremely apologetic, explained that their regular cook was out unexpectedly and the employee that stepped up to help wasn't too familiar with the making the crab pretzels. She issued a refund and explain how long it might take to show up on my account. I gave a three star review ONLY because of how professional and respectful this girl was. I understand everybody has their bad days so I don't think this experience would completely deter me away from Divino's but it might be a while before I try again.

Went this past Wednesday which is their wing night. Typically go on Monday and it’s dead. But today it was completely packed: every table was full and there were additional reservations; looked like a few large birthdays.

Pros: Traditional wings are crispy Crab pretzel app is one of the best in the area, pretzel is soft and not a frozen super pretzel that is served at other places. The crab dip topping doesn’t taste canned/fishy and is a tasty mixture. pizza is good and crispy when asked for well done. kids meals are solid for slice of cheese and drink for 4.49. Fresh homemade bread for the subs Decent weekly specials Mon-Wednesday Waitress was attentive and tried to keep up with a packed house.

Cons: Wings are dusted in cornmeal, I believe, which allows that crispy texture. It’s at least not flour. But I’d rather just have plain wings. This is at least the next best. All wing sauces are from containers and not homemade, you can see them in the kitchen as you walk in on the top shelf of the back wall. Sweet baby rays, you name it, it’s all from a plastic container (they had a hot peach for the week/month which might have been homemade, but was overly sweet and artificial tasting like a peach ring instead of a real peach,) Wing price is $0.83 per wing for the Wednesday special and you can get better deals at a lot of other places in the area. Even when those places make homemade sauces. If you get basil on the pizza they put it raw after they bake it. Ask for it prior to cooking. We had 10 pieces of basil when I can see 25+ pieces on other photos of pizza. Guess you need to ask for extra basil but it’s 1.50 already per topping and so there isn’t any consistency. The pepperoni pizza is beyond greasy. So much, that it just pulls oil, definitely don’t see this often maybe if you order triple pepperoni at other places to give you an idea of the oil Fries are trash and from frozen, half soggy half with black ring rot that no one wanted to eat. Cheesesteak is made with what tastes like frozen minute steak, definitely not fresh like they say. It’s under-seasoned and my kid couldn’t even finish it. They are not shaving fresh ribeye in the back for these and you can tell. Seating by the front entrance is a shit show with the to go orders and staff trying to walk by and constantly bumping into your table. Seating by the back wall air conditioners are also terrible too with water dripping and inconsistent levels of temperature. The ranch from for the wings tastes homemade but is liquidy from I’m guessing too much buttermilk. It is under seasoned as well. But when I put it in the fridge for 24 hours it definitely solidified which makes me question how they store the sauce. Men’s bathroom was beyond disgusting with a river of piss under the urinals and so much urine all over the toilet when I tried to take my daughter to the stall that we had to clean it so she could use it. Wall mounted soap dispensers don’t have soap anymore and they now have pump soap dispensers. Every part of the bathrooms is vile. Watched a guy come out after using the stall, not flushing, and not washing his hands. Definitely not on you but you should have seen how many staff/patrons he touched, shook hands with, all while grabbing napkins and straws at the bar. Glad we were already finishing when we saw this.

Decent place, we will eventually be back but just not on...
