McDonald's — Restaurant in Penn Township

Sadly this place is a joke. They open at 6am, but if you stop before 6:30 you can expect a wait, even if you're the only person there. This location continuously messes up orders and instead of correcting problems, they just blame it all on another shift. I know this is a job that's often done by teens and young adults but there's a line between inexperience and laziness or a bad attitude. There was a period of time when we stopped every single morning for a milkshake and a hot fudge sundae. at least 50% of the time we couldn't get it. The machine would never be up and running. First shift always blamed it on third shift for not having it cleaned and ready for the morning. We'd come in and it would be on a heat mode because it went into self cleaning or something like that. So we started calling third shift, asking if the machine would be up and ready when we got there between 9 and 11am. Even when we're told, oh its cleaned and ready to go, it still wouldn't be on!!! Myself along with many others have been disrespected I don't know how many times. I've even been bitched out for using coupons. The employee stated that it created too much extra work for him. I know it's my own fault for going there but I keep thinking it will change. I get a lot of coupons and gift cards but sometimes I find myself just letting them expire bc even free food isn't worth the hassle. We've gone to customer service many many times over the years and never got anywhere. In fact I've even heard other locations bash this location! From a door dash perspective. I feel as though Most restaurants appreciate the service that we deliver for them. This location based upon my experience is not one of those with the level of gratitude. I pulled into the parking lot and did not observe any cars nor was there anyone in the drive-through so I pulled up to the curbside pick up to grab my delivery. I entered into the location and it was a gentleman wiping off the counter and another man back in the cook area. No greeting so I just announced that I was there to pick up a door Dash delivery he just said OK and went back to cleaning his counter. I continue to stand there. Then he looks at me and says he needs me to pull into a parking spot because that’s where they park customers. ....... no customers in the drive-through and no customers in the lobby and no food being prepared but yet he wanted me to leave the store park and then come back into the store to pick up my delivery. Long story short I found another parking spot it just happen to be at the next pick up. Like most people who are doing door dash on a Sunday morning, we don’t do this because it’s fun trekking across yards with tons of food and drink carriers, but considering current circumstances it’s a necessity to make ends meet. My wife and I live in Manheim. Over the last 6 months we've stopped several times. Today was the worst! We stopped at 9:15. The manager and the girl at the Take-out window were the only ones who seemed to have their head in their work. The food prep crew had no sense of urgency whatsoever, and were having a party. One young lady used profanity freely not caring who would hear. A timer bell went off 3 or 4 times before anyone responded. We waited 15 - 20 minutes for our food. My wife ordered pancakes only to find out they were out. We also learned they were out of burritos and margarita sauce or mix, on a Friday!The manager gave direction several times and was met with negative feedback. His directions were valid! I would fire all the food prep crew, except for the Manager and girl at take-out window. Those two could run the place efficiently by themselves. We were the only customers inside. Something must be done if you want to sell more than take-out. Once we got our food we enjoyed our meal. We intended to stay and eat but left because of above issues and ate in our car Lastly Ronald McDonald and Mr. Ray Kroc would be extremely upset! Thank you for reading this...
