At this point i have been to Khaki Jacks twice. The first time i really didn't plan on doing a review until i took the first bite of my burger and knew right then that i found my go to burger place. There is just something about the basic burger setup with a slight twist like the Jalapeno bacon, instead of look we have so many random things to put on your burger like some other burger places. The Khaki Jacks Burger simply lets the meat do the talking. Enough of the pomp lets get into the food.
"Ozzie"tizers- Down Under-2 Big Potato Skins topped with cheddar cheese and Bacon. I would say these are the perfect blend between the thickness of the potato and the crispy skin. The bacon bits are packed with flavor. And last but not least the melted cheddar cheese. If you like potato skins you need to try the Down Under. Aussie Fries- we got the (bowl) to share among the table. The fries are really good and they pack that bowl full of those delicious fries. Bugalug-Grilled Portabella Mushroom Cap onions and green peppers topped w/mozzarella cheese. This was my wife's main coarse and she ordered it without the peppers and onions. She said it had a really good grilled flavor and a load of cheese. Overall she really liked it and would get it again.
My Stepson had the Elk Burger. On his first bite i seen his face light up and he was shaking his head up and down (that is his way of saying "ya it's good"). The Elk has that gamey flavor some people love so if that's you try this burger.
I had the Bundaburg-Jalapeno bacon & Monterey Jack cheese. The burger patty is thick, charbroiled and loaded with flavor. The bacon is infused with jalapeno which gives this burger a nice little kick. The bun is lightly toasted. This burger is hands down my favorite burger in the area.
I have been to Khaki Jacks on a week day at an off time when it was really slow and i have been on a saturday night when the place was jam packed. The service both times was great. Servers didn't annoy you ever time you took a sip of your drink they let you finish your drink before getting you a new one which they do promptly.
The Bill- For 3 people $31.50. The price point is even good!
As a burger lover i know i have found my burger fix place. Sometimes less...
Read moreI got the Bison Burger and the Pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage and Green peppers. First off the Bison Burger 🍔 was delicious I had Lettuce, Tomato and Pepper Jack cheese. Only problem with the Burger was it was way to salty!!! Like burn your lips salty. But overall Delicious!! 😋. 8/10 The pizza 🍕 was good. It was very salty as well. Not the best pizza I've had and forsure not the worst. The sauce on the pizza was bland but the cheese was tasty. There wasn't enough toppings on it. 6.5/10 Overall I tried some of there fries as well. I'm not a big fan of them, no flavor at all. They need some seasoning to make them special 5/10. I'll give Khaki Jacks a 6.5/10 I would recommend people to go there. Only problem I had was, food was to salty and the burgers and chicken sandwichs should come with fries. Instead of a extra charge.Thank you to Khaki Jacks for the great...
Read moreWhat a surprise. My new local favorite. The meat quality is superb and the burger is 5 inches. I couldn't finish my man size burger. Boy oh boy, I wanted to eat it alk.
When we walked in a young lady at the opposite end of the room, waved, and said, hello. We were told, sit where you want. We noticed, we were the only ones sitting in the dining room had a moment of concern they didn't serve food, but quick noticed the ketchup and mustard on the table. OKay, menu in hand, we ordered. A few mins later, a huge burger with fresh onion and romaine lettuce appeared with a big basket of fries. It was, oh so good. Bites of pure delight landed in my mouth. I noticed the flavor of the meat and the taste of the bun. I'm happy with my decision to eat at Khaki Jack's and am looking forward to visiting this restaurant the next time I'm...
