Subway — Restaurant in Peoria

STAY AWAY!! Never going back to this location. They always have issues, and the employees are extremely rude. Today, an employee named "Andy" asked us to leave the restaurant simply because our sandwich got burnt, and we politely asked for a new one. We had already paid for 2 sandwiches in the beginning. He said, "I am not going to refund you or make you another sandwich. You need to leave the restaurant right now." He refused to give us both sandwiches. When we asked for a refund again, he started a verbal fight in front of other customers. And when we told him that we would complain about this, he said, "Sure, go ahead," as if Subway has no accountability for complaints. As we were leaving, he told us, "Never come back here." We are very frustrated with this experience. Despite similar behavior from another employee in the past, we continued to buy sandwiches from this location since we live in the area. Went into this establishment and immediately noticed 2 younger employees chatting it up and was never initially greeted (as almost every other Subway chain I have been to has). I made my way to the restroom before attempting to order food. The restroom was filthy and obviously not cleaned regularly. After exiting the restroom said employees had disappeared behind a brown door where I could hear them loudly talking to each other still. I stood out in front of the counter for 3 minutes before finally leaving after receiving no service. I called to the back twice requesting for service and was either being ignored or they couldn't hear me over their talking. As I left I "yelled" in a louder tone explaining I would be taking my money elsewhere and got some attention finally as I walked out the door. I will never go back to this location. In fact, I left this Subway and went to the one at Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant where I was greeted and served as one...

This Subway location truly stands out! I stopped in for a quick bite, and I was so impressed with the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. They worked quickly without sacrificing quality, which was perfect for my lunch break.

The ingredients were super fresh, from the crisp veggies to the perfectly baked bread. My sub was loaded with flavor, and they didn’t skimp on the toppings. Everything was assembled neatly, and the portions were just right.

What really surprised me was their drink selection! They had a variety of refreshing options, including some specialty drinks that hit the spot. It was a nice touch that made the meal even better.
