I like Eats and Treats, I like the food, and every time I call to place an order whoever answers the phone seems very professional. Where I have a problem is that I feel like Iām being hustled because the person who takes my order is also jockeying to secure a tip for the driver. Donāt get me wrong E&T are not the only establishment that does that, but the others will tell you your total first then ask you if you would like to leave a tip for the driver. At least that way I know what I have spent, and I know how much I can tip for the driver. I worked in area beauty salons and I know how important it is for your tips. Sometimes it makes the difference between having a meal, gas to put in your car, or even buying diapers for your baby. But never did I put a ātip jarā on my station so that the patron was reminded that I expected them to leave me a tip. I donāt mind tipping, but what am I tipping for? Is it to ensure me that my food will arrive untainted? When the drivers fill out an application, they know that they will be driving and delivering food and they may not always receive a tip. Your establishment offers delivery as an option to eating in or picking it up yourself. At least in my line of work I was performing a service, and at the end of the service if the person was satisfied, then they left a tip. Sometimes they were satisfied and didnāt leave a tip. I feel like Iām already paying for my food, for the convenience fee for using my debit card, and Iām paying a delivery fee. After paying, paying, and paying, sometimes thereās nothing left for me to leave the driver. But if I donāt have it this time I will make it up the next time. This is just my opinion and I am not trying to slam the establishment for trying to take care of their drivers but at least till the caller the total first before you keep asking about a tip...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible service. Will not order again. When ordering at my job, the female that I spoke to who picked up the phone said that my total would be 31$. After doing the math in my head and questioning her on this total it turns out she charged us unnecessarily , and reduced the total. When the delivery driver got to me the total was STILL 31$. Paid it and said maybe next time, you know? Called tonight for a simple order of a BLT and loaded fries, was charged for everything I ordered, driver came to my house and I tipped the driver even and when I opened the bag THE LOADED FRIES WERE NOT THERE! Same woman taking my order BOTH TIMES. Why charge me for something I am not getting? Then when I called she had an attitude about the situation, and the āmanagerā whoās name is tony, who told me he was a manager but when I asked someone else i was told he is an ACTING manager, who was on duty was speaking over me and being very rude. Now I have cold food and who knows how long I have to wait for my fries that are getting sent out. Will NOT be eating here nor recommending at my job to our guests either. Poor quality service with poor quality workers. Huge props to Nathan who was the only good part of this entire ordeal, who stood at my door and apologized over and over to me for the inconvenience after he had to bring me my fries almost a half hour after having to call and complain. HE saved the day. Save yourself the time and money, and refrain from ordering here. Clearly it is ran...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI try not to post terrible reviews, but this place has NEVER delivered our food in less than an hour. It doesn't matter what time of the day we order, it arrives between an hour to 2.5 hours later. Today it was over 3 hours later. We have called to verify the order went through correctly, we called an hour later for a follow up, and every time we have ended up with cold foods. Today we were told the order went through "during a shift change" and the order didn't get placed. We were given excuse after excuse. Just how "busy" can you be on a Wednesday at 4pm? And how many orders can you really have on one street?
Yes, we spoke to the manager and she apologized for the mix-up, but she kept interrupting and repeating herself. During the first call, the female who answered verified the name and address, yet we were told that there were "several orders" on this street and that was why things were late.
A caveat: she did refund the order and told us that it would be sent out as soon as the driver arrived back at the location. However, we were missing two important items.
We aren't trying to be horrible about this, but if this keeps happening over the span of several months, the excuses just don't...
