First the girl at the window was rude because she couldn't hear or understand my husband, it was rush hour and she was just getting frustrated overall. The food wasn't bad. It was very expensive for the meals. My burger was a good size. The drinks were a joke!!!! Why is a large drink the size of a small and the XL is a medium. I mean REALLY???!!!! Your not in Orange county where it's nice and cool. This is the IE!!! I can't even imagine the complaints about drink size when it's hot!!! If you live here you know the heat is no joke out here!!! Come on you guys can do better than that!!! I understand it's a diner and they are always pricey but you should always get what you pay for. I used to eat here regularly from 2006-2015 I moved out of state and recently visited after not eating here missing how the food was. I ordered 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon. The pancakes use to be my favorite. Now bland, and one side on both were burned and tasted like burned bread. The 2 eggs i ordered over medium, got them over easy.... easy... couldnt even eat them. Sausage was good, but spicy. Bacon was pulled out of the fridge already looking fully cooked, reheated on the griddle. It tasted good. But it was dry and tough like jerky. Overall the experience was not was it used to be. Je was to busy cooking an entire griddle full of hashbrowns when he got done with our to go containers he didnt even close the boxes or say anything and they sat open for about a minute just onthe table. I am not sure what's going but maybe it is what we ordered. I had the tuna sandwich with a drink and fries and my gf had taquitos plate which had rice and beans with a small salad. First and foremost the fries were stale, no crunch, they tasted old, salted with red Lawry's seasoning but very stale. The tuna sandwich was a fish with so.e hunk of lettuce. It tasted like a water with bread and some kind of protein..no salt or seasoning. The taquitos were aged flavorless Costco bought or smart and final bought frozen not sure what protein taquitos. Absolutely no flavor of any kind. Th guacamole was also packaged type with little to no flavor. The rice and beans were rocks from how dry they were.
