DG Market — Local services in Perris

I'm usually buying from this location because it is close to my house. But my last visit was not great at all. On Saturday 4/18/20, my family and I had to restock on some groceries and other items. In the Dollar General Store Ad, it shows products on sale, one of the items was a Bic Women's Disposable Razor on sale for $3 but it was still priced in the store for $6. I brought it up to the cashier when I went to check out and I showed them the ad that it was the same item I was buying and everything matched, from the packaging to the name of the product, but they would not honor the sale price. I asked to speak with the manager as to why they would not honor their own ad and they said it might be a different product even though everything matched and was the same item. The manager would not come out from the back to even speak to me in person. Usually this store is good at providing great customer service but that day I felt that they weren't even trying to hear me out, especially if I'm going to buy the item along with others items. I visited this store on November 7th, 2023, at around 4 p.m., and unfortunately, my experience with the staff was less than pleasant. In particular, I found the managers, often referred to as "shift lead," to be quite impolite. The only exception was the cashier, who was courteous and made an effort to assist me.

However, one of the employees, a heavier-set lady, displayed rudeness by making derogatory comments about coupon users. I was using a coupon myself and had simply asked for clarification on how it worked, without any impoliteness. Her remarks about coupon users being rude and trying to cheat the system were surprising and unwarranted.

To add to the disappointing experience, the store also seemed to attract homeless individuals who were soliciting money right at the entrance. Unfortunately, this has left me with the impression that I won't be returning to this location in the future due to the unfriendly staff and the uncomfortable atmosphere created by...

Nice staff, I am always greeted by a hello or welcome to our store as I walk in. The shelves are pretty much always stocked, except that the art area has been lacking for sometime now. Once pandemic hit certain items are a hit and miss. I agree with previous customer that at times there are pallets of items in the isles, but hey how do you expect the shelves getting stocked. The only advice I would give is hire more cashiers, there are times I go in for only 1-2 items and I have to wait in a long line just to check out. A lot of time no one is covering the front of the store. And you have to wait for a clerk to come and check you out. That gets irritating at times especially if...
